Café Egoïste

Food was decent had it been half price and at a roadside restaurant.
Eggs Benedict had bread, ham and sauce that could’ve been bought at a 7 – 11.
Huevos Rancheros had poor ingredients too and the pancake dessert was pretty pathetic.
Nice façade and location but food was ¹⁄₅.

Bad manager, bad food, not a great experience

This restaurant has the best patio of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s on the roof and it’s beautiful because of all the pretty flowers and trees planted. They had Lana del Rey playing as well which I loved and there were birds chirping. It felt like I was in a dream. This restaurant is owned by the same makers as Café Saturnus.
My sister and I ordered the Boulette de Boeuf, the Monday special, per the waiter’s recommendation. We also ordered the hamburger and fries to share. The Boulette de Boeuf was a giant meatball with mashed potatoes and lingonberry. For dessert we went inside and had hot chocolate, tea, and banoffe cake. We wanted to try the banoffe cake because it was mentioned in the movie Love Actually and we had never had it before. It is a combination of banana and toffee with a layer of cream on top and a pie crust. Neither of us liked it but we were glad we tried it. The hot chocolate tastes just like the one at Café Saturnus if I remember correctly. There is free wifi and they accept Diner’s Club international! If you’re traveling internationally, use your Discover/Diner’s Club international card when possible because there are no foreign transactions fees.

Good for the fancy francophile in you (a bit on the pricy side, but i guess that is a part of the koncept)

Some of the best cakes I’ve had in Stockholm! Lime meringue is my personal favorite.
Downside is: prams are not allowed in the restaurant area, the mall area where you must sit with kids is pretty chaotic and not very cozy.

Just as good as Saturnus, same wonderful croissants and coffee. Actually most of the staff has worked at Saturnus which makes the atmosphere great. Only thing not so good are the tables and chairs, not so cosy as Saturnus.
