I really liked it for the price paid. The lobby is very nice, best brakfast! Very very clean rooms!

Another day, another brunch! A fairly cheap brunch compared to other around, you can getaway with 210SEK without coffee and beverages. And they have the usually stuff as bacon, scrambled eggs and caesar salad which wont let you down. Further more they serve a couple of different desserts including apple pie, pancakes and crème brûlée. Their french toast is probably the thing not to miss here, and will take you all the way to heaven if you like cinnamon. Its a cozy place with a calm atmosphere in connection to their hotel lobby. There are several different seat options, and they can seat both smaller and larger parties without any issues. All-in-all this brunch will easily take you to first base, but will have a hard time popping it further than that. And although there is nothing wrong with the food, you may want a wider selection when your cravings emerge.

By far the worst service I’ve ever received! The moules were utterly disgusting and tasted like lightly reduced, cheap white wine in an oil bath. We had to ask the waitstaff if we could have some bread! They charged me handsomely for six disgusting mussels that were so over cooked it was like eating rubber! Avoid this place at all costs!

Gutes Hotel in toller Lage.

This was my first visit to Stockholm and I thought the Mornington was nearly perfect — a very good value. Östermalm seems like an upscale neighborhood so there are a lot of nice restaurants and bars in the nearby Stureplan area/Birger Jarlsgatan. There’s also upscale shopping close by on Norrlandsgatan. The hotel is a bit farther from more«normal» shopping and the central transit area of Stockholm — but we walked to and from there twice and it was very reasonable at maybe 20 minutes. The hotel is very close to a subway terminal and buses are very convenient. Walks to Djurgården and Gamla stan were very easy and delightful with the sights of Stockholm. We took the subway to Södermalm which was very convenient. The hotel itself was very comfortable, with very comfortable beds and nice, modern, clean bathrooms. Breakfast was great with lots of variety and served to 11am(nice to sleep in). There’s also a nice private patio to enjoy breakfast. The room was quiet with an occasional sound above or a door closing next door. Our room was across from a café/bar on the street and we never heard sounds from outside. Also, free wi-fi service was good throughout the hotel and room, accessed with temporary codes they give to you. If you drive a car, be prepared for the garage. It contains the smallest spaces I’ve ever experienced. It was truly a miracle to get in and out of there with a small car without hitting something. This could be common in Stockholm and I just don’t know.

though it is not in the very, very center of stockholm, mornington is close by the östermalmstorg subway station and also östermalms saluhall. i must start with the fact that the lobby is filled with books and there’s also some reading material in your room. i love the library feel of the hotel. the room itself is modern and doesn’t look very interesting but there was a water boiler(which i wish was in every hotel room) and enough space for our small suitcases. i normally stay on a friend’s couch or in hostels when i visit this city, so i have no complaints! the breakfast buffet was quite nice. i was here with my mother, who prefers to start the day by satisfying her sweet tooth. she enjoyed fresh fruits, good breads with jam, and some coffee from the machine. i also enjoyed the crusty bread but with some pâté and cheese and some hard-boiled eggs. there was a nice variety of tea for me to choose from and we both cooed over the tiny croissants which were crisp outside and smelled buttery all over. there were also a few cereals and steamers full of scrambled eggs and bacon, none of which i tried, but my mom assured me the bacon was still crispy.(; after checking out, we set out to explore stockholm with the little time we had left. luckily we had them hold our luggage behind the counter and had to come back, or else we would have forgotten my mom’s phone charger. the pretty lady at reception quickly came up with it, bagged and marked with our room number. those working at the hotel were very gracious with us during our stay and we never felt like a bother to them. i would not hesitate to return to this hotel if i am not staying with a friend, and i feel i’m getting too old for hostels.

Brunch was ok — coffee and tea costs extra and servicewas poor. However the food was fine and desserts really nice(loved their fresh pancakes)!

Food was good. Service was crappy. Bartender was nice. It took half-an-hour to get my «starter», and more than five minutes to get a second drink. The restaurant was only five to ten percent full at the time. I had to remind the waiter about my second drink. Other than the service, food was good. Atmosphere was interesting – surrounded by books. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a library.
