While the oysters are fresh they are not nearly the beat in town. Parts of the staff is wonderful and the other part leaves me wondering how they were ever employed. The Moules Frites is some of the best I’ve eaten in Stockholm. Perfect composition of flavors, the fries are crispy but not overdone and the black pepper on them adds a new dimension — which I appreciate.
Now, the place is insanely small and always very, VERY crowded. One has to yell in order to be heard across the table which spoils the romantic feeling one might be out after in a place like this. Overall a nice place that we visit over and over even if the coffee leaves a lot to be wanted but is saved by a very rich, chocolatey truffle.

this is a cute little hole in the wall. seating was limited and service was very very slow… but all worth the wait because the food is phenomenal. definitely recommend if you are in gamlastan

Lovely place in a — relatively — quiet zone of Gamla Stan, with a choice of French dishes and wines. Food is delicious and the staff really friendly. Definitely a good option in the old town.

Updating the review simply because we’ve been back so many times and the service is always ridiculously good. You always get something extra here, for example my boyfriend knocked over his (empty) glass of champagne so it broke and we both get new glasses of champagne! The beef bourguignon is amaze balls.
Previous review: «Sat outside on the cobble stones on a hot summer evening overlooking the statue of Saint George and the Dragon so full marks for atmosphere. Excellent choix du chef (240: — 2ppl) as a started which left us quite full so we shared a main of squid and chorizo sallad (tasted ok but + for letting us share). Crème brule to finish (good and big!). Service a bit slow but friendly and accommodating»

We strolled Gamla Stan to find lunch and landed here at Bistro Pastis. WOW! We are really glad that we came here. Cute bistro, packed house, and great service. We had a nice red wine to go with our «hot dog» covered in tomato sauce. A nice salad on the side too. We also had some great French fries too. I really liked this meal. Lots of locals at this restaurant too! Romantic place, great food and service. Don’t miss this place in Gamla Stan!
