I had dinner there and chose from the menu, since the sushi and buffet didn’t look that great. However, choosing from the menu was not a good choice either. Too pricy for the food you get. We had some fried duck, but it was over cooked and it was very little. For 180SEK or so. Also the chicken with sweet and sour sauce was just plain. Never coming back again.

I’m stunned. Came to this place to have some decent Chinese food after a long day of meetings. I did my research on here and this restaurant seemed to get amazing feedback. I’m honesty not sure what’s going on, but what I experienced was over cooked, tepid, greasy food that looked like it had been hanging around a day too long. I tried to(quietly) say that it wasn’t up to scratch and was told that was how Sweden likes its Chinese food. So please Sweden, it’s time to get your Chinese food up to the same speed as your Nike Limited Edition Air Max’s or just go ahead and sack the chef. Not recommended.

I am a college student visiting Stockholm from New York City. I came to Bamboo Palace for lunch in September 2014 with a group of friends. My friends and I all loved it for its food and its value. The lunch buffet is popular and extremely worth the price. There is sushi and lots of Chinese food. The food is always warm. The lo mein and orange chicken were fantastic. At the end, there is free tea and coffee. The service was great as well. Waiters and waitresses constantly removed plates from our table and refilled the buffet. Robert(I believe that was his name. He is the Chinese middle-aged man with glasses who also greets guests as they enter the restaurant) was extremely kind. As tourists, we asked him many questions, and he was extremely helpful in telling us about Stockholm. He made us feel extremely welcome, and he is one of the best waiters I have met in Europe. The décor was amazing as well. There is a pond at the entrance and many ceiling decorations. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

A welcome break from meatballs and potatoes! Being a west coaster, I am spoiled with fresh food(including vegetables). I walked in here needing some, and I got some! I skipped the buffet and opted for some freshly prepared spicy chicken pad thai. I’m feeling a little more normal now!

Good meal, all you can eat, great price for Stockholm. Can’t ask for much more! Try to miss the rush hour at lunch(12 – 1) cos it gets jam packed. But getting a table isn’t usually too difficult, if you don’t mind not getting yor preferred seating. Dinner time is busy esp on weekends and the buffet is extended with BBQ. Not bad though ESPTHEBBQ and I’d definitely come back for the good food and affordable prices. Décor is not too bad for a budget buffet place like this. Nice touches and everything is very clean. Bathroom is also spotless and surprisingly well decorated. My waitress was Wei Bee(I think) who speaks a fair amount of English(and Svenska too of course). She’s very sweet, super helpful, and works hard to please. So if you don’t speak Swedish, ask for her. In this expensive city where Asian food can be disappointing, this is a solid go-to place. I repeat as often as I can when I’m in the neighborhood.

The food is amazing. You may think that since it is a buffet that the food is not going to be that great, but you will be pleasantly surprised. The food is warm and fresh and well cooked. It is child friendly, and my three enjoyed it. To sum it up if you’re ever in Stockholm and want a good classic Asian buffet, come here.
