The lunch buffet here is an excellent value, and I think it might be the best Asian buffet in Stockholm. Like many of the other restaurants, they offer a selection of Chinese dishes, sushi, a Thai curry and miso soup all at once. When I first moved here, I found this to be sacrilege, but I’m used to it now, and it’s kinda cool that you don’t have to choose just one type of cuisine. This restaurant does the Chinese dishes better than most, and the other ones are pretty tasty too. At dinner they offer pretty much the same thing, plus they let you create your own Mongolian BBQ combination that they then grill in front of you. As another reviewer mentions, they also charge 8 sek for water at dinner, which I’ve never seen anywhere else in Stockholm and feels quite sneaky.

We had the buffet for dinner. The food was alright. I expected more from the buffet was not very big but it had variety: Mongolian grill, sushi, Thai, Chinese, dessert(pretty much fruit), soup(miso). We did leave full. The service was good until the end. We waited over 15min for our check.

We ate dinner at this restaurant’s buffet tonight(169SEK/person) — and although we don’t eat beef and I don’t eat chicken, there were enough choices to satisfy us — including several types of sushi, which was a treat. The(female) owner didn’t speak English, but the two men working there did — and one of them was quite fluent. He asked if we’d like anything to drink, and I said«No, just tap water». Both of the men were very friendly. When I went to pay the bill, the fluent one told me we’d each be charged 8SEK for the water. I said«Number one, it was just tap water. Number two, we haven’t been charged for tap water ANYWHERE in Stockholm [we’d even asked for it at several coffee houses when walking huge distances and everyone gladly complied]. And number three, you can’t charge for something when you don’t first INFORM us there will be a charge». He then said it was written on the menu — and I replied, «We were never GIVEN a menu because we had the BUFFET». He still insisted, so I said«Fine; please call the POLICE and I’ll *gladly* tell them what happened». That sure got his attention, after which he said he’d have to talk to the owner. Eventually he returned and said the owner insisted we pay for the water because *she* had to pay for it. I managed to not laugh and said«The water comes from the SINK, and two glasses of water costs NOTHING. Once again, we are NOT paying for the water because you did not INFORM us there was a charge — so either call the police, or else deduct it from the bill!» Yet again, he conferred with the owner — and then he returned & said she would pay for the water(?!).(Note that I’ve travelled extensively throughout all of Europe — except for Bulgaria — for the past 35 years and I’m very well aware that tap water isn’t «available» in certain countries. However, Sweden isn’t one of them). What a FOOLISH woman! If she hadn’t done that, I would have given four stars — and if this wasn’t our last night in Stockholm(which they certainly didn’t know), we might have returned there. The only reason I’m giving three stars is because the food was tasty, the place was very clean and the interior is attractive.
