I went to watch a movie here and it was so packed full it was uncomfortable! It took forever to get some popcorn and was actually really annoying to try and stand in line with everyone pushing and shoving. I just kept thinking if there was a fire I would have gotten trampled and died(ok, so… maybe not that dramatic. But, still!) Once I got into the theater the chairs were too small and close together and every seat was full. It felt like I was a sardine in a can! I’ve been to other theaters in Stockholm and never felt that squished before! I think I should’ve indulged and done the VIP area where you can actually eat dinner and have(real) drinks. I bet it’s a totally different experience up there on the balcony area. I’m gonna give it a chance and put two stars since I haven’t tried the VIP section of this theater that everyone talks about. I would probably recommend the bigger theater in Hötorget down the street if you plan on sitting in general seating.

This is the most comfortable theatre in Stockholm, at least if you choose the VIP option. That is pricey(the Hobbit was 280SEK per ticket) but if you like being comfortable and don’t go to movies that often, I’d consider this alternative. In the price, free soda and popcorn is included. You can buy wine and drinks at the bar and bring them into the theatre. The seats in the VIP section are comfortable. Wider and more leg space than the average theatre, and small tables so you can put down your drink and popcorn.
