This place has a pretty cold vibe. There isn’t the bar scene here that I’d like in a small town(like you can find over at Sheldon Arms). The beer selection is a little on the weak side as well — there are only 4 craft beers. We tried two of them and both were pretty unpleasant. We settled for the lesser of the two evils, and finished our half of a pint and hit the road. I did not try any of the food, though it looked like traditional English fare. The bartender was a nice young lady and was happy to provide our beer samples. They got a bit busier as the night wore on — we got there at 6pm, and there were only a few people in there. When we left about an hour later, the place had filled up a bit. So there was a better vibe in there as the night wore on. Overall okay place to stop for a little, but not a place that I’d go out of my way to visit.

Hadn’t been in here for a long time and we have to say that it has retained the standard we experienced before. Although we had eaten in L Spice opposite,(our favourite curry house in Worthing), we could have been tempted to have another meal here. All the meals we saw coming out were looking and smelling very tasty. Good range of ales and live entertainment on Saturdays. Parking is very restrictive. Has a unique two sided pub sign.
