Loved this place. It’s a B&B, but we didn’t stay. We just had a couple of pints in the cozy bar. It’s not yupscale or twee or overly knowing about being a pub in the heart of gorgeous Eton. It’s just a nice pub. The décor is very calming — pale, barely gray green painted walls, with dark red upholstery. Old fashioned bar. Nice big hand-hewn beams in the ceiling. Terrific ladies room — so CLEAN! They serve a decent pint of Guinness and a really FRESH and cold and delicious pint of John Smith’s Extra Smooth. Great place for a pint.

dear oh dear. this used to be a nice little pub but seems to have lost its way. It sort of looks like a gay transport café. The place is covered in tacky signs ranging from the ones on the front door saying«no work boots — no children — no pushchairs — no dogs or bikes in the garden» to the ones taped to lampshades advertising the fact that the highlight of the week is that Britains got Talent is on the tv in the bar on Saturdays and bingo starts at 8pm on Sundays. £3.70 for a pint as well!
