The only pub in Warwick I’ve found so far that serves food in the evening.
Vegetarian choice really depends on the day. I’ve had a very mediocre spinach & ricotta cannelloni but a nice frittata. On my most recent visit I had a artichoke, potato and leek frittata. It came with a load of rocket, salad and olives on top. I was just about to tuck in when an extra bowl of salad arrived to go with it. There was too much food, the salad wasn’t needed as there was enough with the original meal. I told the waitress this and she got quite offended & defensive!
The staff can be a bit cold and they are a little to pushy regarding sides, deserts and extra drinks. Good ales on tap but no cider (I would never class Strongbow a cider!)

Good beer, really friendly staff and good, reasonably priced food — what more could you want?
This place is one of my favs in Warwick!

A lovely place! 5 stars just for being open on a Sunday afternoon when nothing else in the area is– but besides that, the ambiance is wonderful, the service ultra-​friendly, and the food delicious. The offerings are definitely more upscale than your average pub but the prices still reasonable. I highly recommend if you’re in Warwick.

Nice little pub. Friendly staff, good beer and good, reasonably priced food. Large TV one side of the bar but it doesn’t bother you if you’re elsewhere in the pub. Worth the walk out of town. About 10 mins.

Called in on a Tuesday night with friends. Took me 10 mins to get served. There was ONE young lady serving beer, and waitressing plenty ofmeals. In this day and age, with so much unemployment, there is no excuse for staff shortages.
Four different ales, usual suspects, Deuchars was nice, but the Speckled Hen had seen better days.

Just been here after reading review on Qype! Good pub, friendly with decent beer and food. Nice old building on Smith St in Warwick so you can idle amongst the shope before or after (or during) a drink.

Nice welcoming pub with good quality food from a traditional pub menu. Log fires, friendly bar staff, well kept beer and piping hot food.
Recommended
