Oriental Buffet

Still remains one of the inexpensive eaterie’s around the area… about £12.00.
Loads of room lunchtime and most evenings. Pretty average quality, won’t blow your head off! Not really suitable for people with a smaller appetite.
Pay and display parking very nearby.

I always enjoy my meals here, tend to go at lunchtime as it is cheaper. Friendly service and a good variety.

Situated in the high street near wetherspoons, this is a nice place to go for lunch or dinner. Although it may seem expensive at nearly £12 per person for dinner (this is expensive to me as students can go into something similar in Boro for £5.50!), it is an all you can eat buffet, with starters, a massive variety of mains, and a few cakes and ice cream for dessert. The food ranges from Chinese, Indian, Thai and there are dishes with duck, king prawns and muscles, so in my opinion you really do get your moneys worth. They also do a kind of takeaway where you pay £5 to fill a carton with anything you want from the buffet.
The restaurant is pretty big and you won’t normally need to book a table during the week but it does get busy on the friday and saturday evenings. They are happy to have large parties in too.
Worth a try if you are keen on oriental food.
