This is a basic unpretentious pub which might seem out of place in «green welly» Kingswood. No overpriced food, fairly basic décor. Ask locals for directions to The Rat and they will know what you mean. This is one pub where you need a Land Rover to negotiate the pot holed road.

Came across this pub some time ago, it really is in the middle of nowhere, a dirt track leading to it from the lake, originally linked to the local web site, but has one of its own, and has a nickname known as «The Rat».
