A friendly pub with a real warmth to it(the roaring fire I guess). Pubs with wooden beams are usually high quality too. There was some nice olde music playing. I was sat at a table just starting my pint of Three Tuns Stirling when the barmaid came across and replaced it with a fresh pint, mumbling something about it not quite being ready. It was fine as far as I could tell, but the fresh pint was even better, so I certainly appreciated the unprompted gesture! I couldn’t figure who was watching the naval program on the TV, which was on silent but randomly had Swedish subtitles switched on.
