The Old Lion Tap is a small but friendly little pub that worth a visit for a night out. It perhaps doesn’t offer anything out of the ordinary but it draws in a young but friendly crowd and is a comfortable and relaxed place to spend a night out. The prices are reasonable, certainly average for Shrewsbury and the service is good. There’s a pool table if you’re in the mood for some hustling and you’ll often find live music, karaōke and other events on offer to pass an evening there. And if you find yourself getting bored, the Old Lion Tap is a mere stone’s throw from the umpteen other pubs Shrewsbury has to offer making it an ideal stopping point on a night out.
