Food was ok but a bit over priced

the food is really good but overpriced, coz u get very small quantity. (especially when order calamari starters)
the staff is nice.
but yes it takes a while to get served, but thats in most italian restaurants like that.

Yummm, that says it all really. Thank the lord leopold square was built. I stumbled across Zizzis in York a few years ago and am I thankful Sheffield decided they wanted a piece of it. When you walk in you are greeted by the modern décor (which fits in well with the chic-​ness of Leopold Square), but let’s not get stuck on that, the smell, mmm, the smell when you walk in makes you want to grab the garlic bread out of the hands of the girl sitting next to you, it smells that delicious. The menu is just the right size, not so much that you feel overfaced and unsure of whether you’re making the right decision and not too little that you feel pushed into a choice you don’t really want. I shared the selection of breads to start with, freshly made and presented with an olive oil and balsamic sauce. Then for main, the mushroom and chicken risotto, oh yes, it literally melted in your mouth. And to finish, I had the fig tart, it would have been rude not to. All in all a fantastic night, friendly service and chic surroundings. I will be gracing their doors very soon.

Zizzi is pretty much what I’d expect from an upmarket chain restaurant — the food is pretty decent, although over-​priced for what it is. There’s an Italian theme (although when we were in there they were playing Arabic music), with half-​decent pizzas (not as good as Strada, next door, though) and pasta. Had some really nice spicy sausages with lentils.
The service really let it down though — although the staff are very friendly, they take forever. Although the restaurant was only a quarter full when we visited, it took them 30 minutes to bring the food, and another 15 minutes to bring the bill afterwards. I wouldn’t go in here if you’ve only got a short time for lunch.

Zizzis is located in fashionable Leopold Square. The restaurant is modern, clean and assessable. The menu is varied and reasonable and has an Italian theme. The staff when we visited were polite and helpful. The toilets are clean and modern. I had meatballs and spaghetti and they were fresh and delicious. The crockery and cutlery is simple but stylish and they use real linen napkins!
Recommend you book before hand to avoid disappointment.

This does not look like the average chain restaurant; the interior is warm and welcoming whilst still being modern. It feels big but is not overly big and can get fairly busy so it may be worth booking for tables at the weekend or if there is a large group.
The menu has a selection of seasonal dishes as well as regulars.
The prices are reasonable and fairly average for a main dish. The staffs are fairly friendly as well. The food is cooked fresh and you can see the main kitchen area which is good to see the chefs working away.
The restaurant is set in Leopold square so there are a few choices of eateries but this one is able to stand its ground amongst them and its not the only Italian one there either.

This is a lovely restaurant located at leopold square. Great italian gourmet food. Can definitiely remember the chicken breast, great size and so tasty! The strawberry tart is to die for! Nice intimate atmosphere with friendly staff and not extortionate prices.

Zizzi’s is an italian resturant (Zizzi is a chain) in the centre of sheffield (based in Leopold Square).
it has an amazing menu, and the food tastes really really good. the décor and layout of the restaurant is really nice. the staff are helpful.
only downside was that it took them ages to serve us, and the restuarant was quiet, so we should of been served pretty quickly in my opinion.
other than that though, the restaurant is a must for anyone that likes italian food!
