Bamboo Door

We love the décor! Every town should always have a go-​to Tiki lounge and this is the best one for Sheffield! The menu? Tropical. The staff? Friendly.
The only bad thing I have to say is the lighting. Too bright! I could see every spill, stain and mess in the bar. Of course bars are messy! But I shouldn’t have to see it. Maybe dim down the lights a bit so I don’t see the mess.

I liked it here a lot! Situated in Leopold Square, they have made the most of a small space with a large patio area.
It is a Tiki cocktail bar with lots of bamboo and bizarre light fittings. There are lots of big booths to sit in but they filled up quickly.
A really good range of Tiki cocktails but they will make other classic cocktails if asked. I had a lovely pisco sour with egg white foam and a flower on it.
The music was a bit odd and they started playing terrible early noughties RnB which I thought I’d managed to forget. This seems to be a trend across bars in general at the moment though so I guess they’re just going with what is popular.
Drinks were well priced and interesting, a friendly atmosphere and fun décor. Shame about the music.
