My new spot for lunch in Media city! as with previous comments, it is not easy to find due to its remote location that directs you towards a car park and then disappear. but dont worry once there just look on you right(while facing the road) and you should see it! Food is nice and portions are big! burgers dont beat the ones of the neighbourg dockyard though! you need to count around £6 for a dish + side. if you feel like you are in need of coffee or tea there are free refills! Atmosphere inside is nice, there is load of space between the tables so you dont feel like you are sitting on top of each other! they also have sofas if you prefer a comfy option! staff are very friendly and helpful. they even have a fooseball table to occupy yourself while your food is prepared!

Penelope’s Kitchen, on the ground floor of the Pie Factory building in MediaCityUK, is set away from the other eateries so you have to keep an eye out for signs directing you. If you were leaving Booths supermarket, it’s the red brick building past The Greenhouse. They’re an independent, so worth supporting over the restaurant chains when you can — prices for some things are slightly more expensive so it’s probably not somewhere you’d have lunch several times a week(unless you’re loaded). The food is homemade — well, made in a professional kitchen — and some of the options have a New York twist(apparently because the owners lived in NYC for a while). They offer cooked breakfasts, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, toasties, hot dogs, burgers and ‘hot stuff’ like chilli. Prices in general range from £4-£6. As Nic R previously said, the hot dog on its own wasn’t enough to fill us up so if you have an appetite, be warned. On my most recent visit I had their ice cream; £2.50 for a decent-sized tub of Oreo cookie flavour and it was immense. PK’s is definitely worth a visit for the desserts alone!

The team is really lovely and the place is super nice. Large tables and sofas, like a cool canteen. We went there for Friday lunch treat and went for the Dog of the Day. It looks better than it taste unfortunately and for £4.50 we needed to get a top-up elsewhere. I am not giving up on the place as the vibe is really good but I will have to sample the rest of the menu which on the paper is very appetising.
