Now, it might be weird to think that I’ve been shopping in a place like this. After all, it’s not like I really to get myself a trophy made is it? Unless I really needed to make myself feel better about things. «Ahh, there is my trophy, sitting on the dining room table. Excellent. Yay me.»
No, G W Lofthouse also sells little hip flasks that you can get engraved. These make great gifts for people’s 21^st birthdays and that’s why I was here.
The owner of the shop is kind of stern and matter-​of-​fact, but certainly not rude. A hipflask will set you back about £25 with engraving costing about 20p a letter. All sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Oh, and they do do trophies if you really want one.
