I popped in here while I was strolling through the city, hoping to find something nice for a friend. I was surprised to find quite a sparse, gallery style store, which, thought well fitted out, doesn’t fill me with wonder. The staff were immediately attentive, perhaps after a long morning of not alot to do, but I gave them the ‘just browsing’ excuse and examined what turned out to be a fairly standard selection of mid-​range spirits. Nothing special. I suppose it does what it says over the door.

We went to a whisky tasting with Manchester Whisky Club. The guys were really nice and knowledgeable enough, the selection is impressive, the display even more so but boy, I would not buy there. The prices are through the roof.
