Debenhams

A fair sized store in the Thistles Centre. Ground floor feels like a crowded maze. Decent coffee shop at the back which unfortunately only has a view of the bus station.

Couldn’t fault the layout, the merchandise, all very straight forward and pleasant. I was the only one in the queue and this couple came and stood on the other side of the queue and went straight for the checkout without even looking at me, and the staff didn’t even acknowledge that I was first in line. I asked the staff where exactly the queue was supposed to begin and she said don’t worry about it. wtf? Don’t worry about getting cut off by ignorant, ill-​mannered people? Unfortunately the Trafford Centre can attract these very people from up and down the country.
Verdict — Debenhams staff need to polish their service skills, pay more attention to customer distress.

Dull as dishwater and probably stocking it. Why, because the DBH business is concerned only with selling the most mundane of items– the things that really smash the Hollywood pretence of your shopping trip to pieces by reminding you that your life is ordinary. You want to be Her Royal Highness for the day but the gluttony cornflower cardigans (and the fact that you quite like them), the armoury of discount kitchen utensils (and the fact that you know you need them) and the café with no toilets (and the fact that you REALLY need them) serves to tell you that whilst a Royal you could easily be, your more Barbara than an Elizabeth.

Goods ordered on line despatched and received quickly.
At my request, the staff parcelled up the goods i was attempting to return to the store, so I could take them to the post office, to be sent to Debenhams depot.
A leaflet in the goods received, said you could return items to the store, as well as by courier or the Post Office. Took 5 out of the six items to the store. They couldnt deal with returns, as there was nothing to prove how id paid (Debenhams Card) said there should have been another document, but I had taken all enclosed in parcel, including original packaging. I had wasted my time. My journey was approx 36 miles there and back. What a waste of an afternoon, and petrol. No one was able to deal with my problem, and resolution was me being sent to Post Office.
Im not impressed.
if there is an addition service, (returning goods to the shop) after purchase from their web site, then there needs to be a more efficient way of dealing with it, and the staff need training .One lady who dealt with me said it so rarely happened, when it does, no one knows what to do. She later said, it does now appear to be happening more frequently. I will never shop on the internet with them again, too much hastle. I am considering cutting up the Debenhams card, if id have got my hands on scissors while in the shop, the deed would have been done there and then

The Debenhams, department store in the Metro Centre is a good size store and is located in a handy position right at the end of the red section. This means that there is parking just outside which is great if you just want to nip in here. Debenhams has departments for homeware, fashion, shoes, cosmetics, bags to name but a few and stocks designers such as john rocha, matthew williamson and jasper conran. One thing to note about debenhams is that they often have discount days when there may be 20% or more off items so it is an idea to keep and eye out for them.

One of the flagship stores in the well known trafford centre, situated at the end of the grand mall. This is a huge store, offering all that debenhams has to offer really.
Nice to go to a debenhams which is not so run down too, as lots in city centres are well overdue a facelift.
You can grab a bite to eat in here too as it has a small restaurant, but there is so much on offer in the trafford centre itself it’s probably better to head into the orient eating hall.

Debenhams ist eine große Einkaufskette, die viele verschiedene Marken anbietet, wie z.B. Morgans. Zum Shoppen hat man hier viele Möglichkeiten. Zusätzlich gibt es eine Make– up Abteilung und Parfüm; oben gibt es noch Bettwäsche und andere Accessoires für das Badezimmer oder Wohnzimmer. Billig ist es hier nicht gerade. Ein kleines Restaurant ist ebenfalls integriert.

Debenhams is a large department store located right at the end of the red mall in the metrocentre. It can be entered directly from the mall or outside from the multi storey or ground parking.
It carries a number of highstreet consessions from clothes, cosmetics, jewelery to homewear.
The sales at debenhams are always exellent as everything is reduced by at least 20% and they lasy for quite a few days at a time.

love this place for all your designer names at good prices though think it could be better set out you can easily get lost

This is a well organised shop aand it is easy to get around. It has different floors for different sections. They sell clothing and home furniture and the staff are always helpful. It is a big store and is very popular. It has lots of tills so that there is never a queue.

I love looking at all the fabby items debenhams stock the quality is always fantastic. Not always affordable to everyone but on sale days its great to grab a deal specially the kids toys and clothing range.

i prefer this debenhams to the one in manchester city centre its not as big but it just seems better organised and easier to navigate your way round. they cater mainly for young fashion and occassion in here they have a small underwear section that usually has some sort of a sale on. not really looked around the mens section but they have a homewear section that has quite a good selection again with all the good bargins and a small luggage section. nice store easy layout. they have a small makeup section and fragrance but not huge so its not the best place to look for new fragrance they have the main sellers.

Busy store within the Red Mall at the Metrocentre, it’s large, bright and excellently located at the edge of the mall. You can enter it directly from the red multi-​storey car park. Large range of stock from clothing (Principles, Wallis, Red Herring etc) to perfumes and make-​up to household wares and a bridal department. The bra-​fitting service in the lingerie department is excellent. This shop tends to get exceptionally busy at sale time. It offers a personal shopper service, booked in advance, and there are restaurants here you can take a break from the shopping!

good size store with lots of the other departments staff are friendly too, usally got late nights with special shopping events at xmas

this is a great debenhams. it is not the biggest but it is a decent size. it has a wide range of brands in all dept’s. it is situated in the middle of the thistle centre. staff all seem to be very pleasant and as always the makeup and perfume counter girls are the happiest people ever.
