Chapati café is priced well and really tasty, you can’t go wrong here. A real must if your in the area. It’s cheap and quality food to eat in or take away.

This place is well worth coming to. The rice/chapati and 3 deal is great. A small variety of tasty dishes are on offer and all that I’ve tried have been very good. Plus it’s takeaway prices but with a nice little café vibe. It is basic but pleasant to sit in.

If you have an appreciation for good homemade food, Indian/thali cuisine, different flavours, textures and spices all on one platter — this place is a must-try. It’s laidback café style, quick, super-friendly service and value for money are all second-to-none for a lunchtime jaunt or a bite to eat with your buddies. They are open from 11:30am — 7:30pm, so it’s ideal for lunch or an early dinner. This place really is awesome, and the food is so good. You can have any combination of tender meat or veg dishes, I usually go for the one meat 2 veg option, which works well but if you want all veg or 3 meat YOUCHOSE! We were in-and-out within about 25 – 30 minutes, perfect timing as we were on our lunch break from the office. It is safe to say we all loved it, and at an average price of £5.50 per Thali(steel plate) value for money is second to none. I am officially addicted to their samosas(both veggie and meat) and their mint and coriander sauce is always a highlight for me amongst all their other amazing flavours and textures. It’s so refreshing and sharp and really works well to cleanse the palate between bites. A must-try! PICTURED: Lightly spiced minced lamb curry, bombay style potatoes and a tasty dhal(lentil) dish, served with a veggie samosa, pickles, rice & chapati. The mint and coriander sauce is top-left!

This was my first time at chapatti café and with it being good Friday I don’t eat meat so I had three vegetarian curry’s they were lentil Dahl, chickpea curry and a potato curry I had it with rice a chapatti and salad with yoghurt and mango chutney. It was a nice change from having a curry with meat as I wouldn’t normally order a vegetarian curry but they are just as tasty so I would look at these in the future. The place was very modern and clean. The staff were really friendly and very helpful he was telling me all the vegetarian options. I will definitely be going again and it’s really good value £4.50.

I have now been here a few times… This place is so good that I felt the need to submit another review! I am yet to receive bad food and more importantly in my opinion bad service. The people behind the counter are always friendly and will talk you through what they have on offer even of there is a que of 5 behind! I can’t recommend this place enough.

I visited this café the first time about a month ago with fellow Unilocaler Rob T. I was really impressed with the choice of curries on offer and the warm friendly service I received. I have been back on 2 occasions and was equally impressed by food and service alike and shall be visiting again soon. Their dishes are so fresh and delicious and a pure pleasure to eat. I can’t recommend this place enough.
