The pub with two faces. Normal pub in the weekdays and party place in the weekends, it is very coll to have such Jeckyll-Hyde pub round the corner. I prefer not to go there on Saturday, it is too loud and overcrowded for me. But for the Tuesday Beer Ritual this is the perfect place. The free wi-fi and the pool table(have to wait to play) are big pluses. If you look where to get waisted in the hood on weekends this is the place.

I really wasn’t impressed with this place. It is not somewhere that has stuck in my head at all and I would not want to go again. Nowhere really to dance and it generally was not busy at all when I went and you would always think of clapham to be a busy and lively place. Lots of better places to go on London — only a train ride away.

There have been a few desperate times when the small group of drunken people I’ve been with have needed somewhere to carry on partying, especially on a Sunday evening when the pubs shut at 10.30pm but our mouths are still open at 10.31pm! I can’t say I’ve ever really enjoyed coming here, we’ve always had attitude from doormen and the bar staff even though we’re always amiable drunks rather than the loud aggressive usuals that come here. The place is a pickup joint and reminds me of a small-town club rather than something that belongs in central London but maybe it’s just not aimed at someone like me. Never been here any earlier that 10.30pm so couldn’t tell you what it is like at any other time.

I don’t really like this place; except for the roof terrace I like that. It’s basically got the look and feel of one of those west end clubs but it’s in Clapham. I’ve only been there cause a friend was the DJ and so naturally the music was good. However, no one really danced to this good music and they only began to move when another(rubbish) DJ took to the decks. This isn’t just about bitterness or sympathy for my friend it’s just a bad club. There isn’t really any atmosphere to speak up, the different areas don’t feel connected and the space in between the rooms is so silent and bright it feels like a call centre stuck between two nightclubs. The drinks aren’t too expensive and they do special offers on promoted nights but beware incredibly annoying door staff and a permanent negative to cancel out anything half decent about this club/bar/whatever.
