Me and Tareq A were blessed with the opportunity of visiting this high-end fast food joint/bar. Lucky us! I went for the ‘Smokin’ Bacon burger. A gorgeously moist beef burger in an endearing pretzel bun, topped with gorgeous sauces and, among other things, smoked cheddar, streaky bacon and wotsits. Yes wotsits. Those crisps you 90s kids will have fond memories of. You’d be surprised quite how well the other flavours complimented those wotsits, and vice versa! Tareq ordered the Blackened Chicken and was similarly impressed! Served alongside mine was sweet potato wedges. Like sweet potato fries but really, really(no, I mean really!) thickly cut. I don’t think I’d ever be brave enough to attempt to cook these at home, as I know how tricky even slightly chunky sweet potato fries can be. These guys know what they’re doing, however, and the wedges were flawless! The service was great. We didn’t have to wait long at all. The décor was beautiful. The drinks menu is of the ilk I’ve only seen elsewhere at the Bavarian Beerhouse(endless flavoured shots anyone?). I am already planning my triumphant return!

Having a passion vodka cocktail(£7.50) while I waited for a lunch date… was tasty and refreshing, could’ve done with more passionfruit but that’s just me. Menu looks good, around the £8-£10 range. Quiet during the day but must be very popular and busy at night. Nice place to just chill during the day.

We couldnt resist the 50% off food deal on Mondays and two for one cocktails and came in with no expectations. The service was good, but unfortunately my husband did not enjoy his meal. We started with a cosmo and mojito(both delish), and had some greasy dough balls, which despite the greasiness were good. I ordered the garlic mushroom pizza which I thought was decent. nice thin crust. Hubby ordered rump steak and fries. Hate to say it, but the RUMP steak really did taste like ass. Bland sauce, chewy steak. Maybe its what he ordered. I would not pay full price for this place for food unfortunately. But service was good, and pizza was decent. goes to show you – stick with what you know.

Found out this bar recently and I have really enjoyed the couple nights I’ve been. Wide varity of music and gets very crowded. Cheap drinks so you are garunteed to get drunk lol. But all in all a nice bar.

This place looked pretty nice outside. There was a line outside when it was still quite early. Their bar is pretty good as well. Jäger bombs tasted realllly gooood. There wasn’t much people inside though because it was kind of early. Would have stayed longer if there were more people, but oh well. Pretty good for my first time here.

Always likely to have a 241 offer going on for cocktails, so you can never go wrong. This is one of my favourite rev bars because of the glass exterior. Although I don’t go here regularly at all, it always ticks in my head. You can never go wrong with a revolution bar — good cocktails and always some music, sometimes even a dj. Good place to go with friends on a night out if you don’t fancy the club scene.

Came here the other day to watch the England v US game. Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant crowd(except toward the end, as to be expected) and from what I heard, good food. Wouldn’t be opposed to coming back and trying some appetizers or having a dance.

They do great special offers on drinks to get people in on a Friday night — provide them with your email adress or phone number and the invitations will come every week. I’ve only been here for quick after work drinks, and it’s a pretty nice place with friendly staff. Not sure what it’s like when it’s crowded though. Good range of drinks and food.

Ah Revs. You should know what you’re getting yourself into before you enter. It’s a chain bar, but with a difference — they specialise in Vodka and, on the weekends, they seem to take it upon themselves to babysit all the twunts in the area. They sell interesting and varied vodka shots — by the tray if you’d like, and their cocktails are decent if not overpriced. I treat this place as an early stop-off on an already designated ‘big night’. We’ll be in here polishing off a rack of cherry vodkas and slurping down a couple of their interesting ‘I cant taste any alcohol in this’ cocktails. Move on though, don’t stick around for the end of the night because you’ll most likely get dragged into a mêlée or, if a laydee, get groped. Love you Clapham.

You walk in here with full knowledge that by the end of the night you’ll be making out with the porcelain bowl, because to be honesty, drinking is the only way you’re going to get through a night here. Revolution is a bar chain in England and no it’s not the worst but it does have a false sense of pride when it comes to standards. Yes, their cocktails aren’t bad, no their clientele is not good but hey, this is the nightlife strip of Clapham, where mutton dressed as lamb is acceptable… apparently. I have been here a few times, normally when I am dragged by a certain friend trying to convince me I need a dirty night out. With it’s orb plastic lampshades and PVC covered chairs, from a distance Revolution Clapham could be described as a decent bar cum(Yep!) club. But it’s a «total Monet», with it’s chipped heavy classes and wipe down seats, the anticipation that revelers are going to trash this place in a drunken brawl, often results in it. The crazy thing is that most nights there will be a queue of people desperate to get in and«enjoy» this. Okay, I’m a snob and that probably affects my judgment but seriously, don’t make this a destination, make it an accidental detour on a night out in Saf London.

Came here with a bunch of lawyers after a company party. The space was great, and I liked the music they played that night as well. It’s a fairly classy place, which is nice on one level, but be prepared to encounter the requisite stuffed-shirts.

I am such a fan of Revolution. I normally steer clear of all corporate chains, but this one does everything right and I always enjoy myself here. While staying with a friend in Clapham I was psyched when I noticed there was a Revolution down the street from the flat. I came here on my own for lunch and had a lovely afternoon. Sitting in a comfortable booth in the sunlight, I had an incredibly delicious burger with chips. The burger had a giant onion ring on top. It was gourmet quality. Or at least tasted that way. The service was attentive, friendly, and low key. And he was attractive. That always helps. And the coffee was only 95p and totally decent. So, a great lunch/brunch spot. What is interesting about Revolution is that they manage to be a lovely restaurant during the day and early evening, and as it gets later, they turn more into a bar/club. It’s interesting that they manage to be both things so well. Really smart developers have worked on this brand. Keep it up.

We had our Christmas party there and I must say that the place does look good inside, quite modern to most places. The atmosphere inside ain’t cold neither comfy but it does the trick. I am sure once you had a few drinks you won’t notice it anymore. The food was quite tasty except that they had the air conditioner blowing like there is no tomorrow on our table, so we had to eat quickly if we wanted hot foot. The drink were average and the selection was pretty much any type of vodka you wanted. Guess you can go anywhere and not feel comfortable, it all depends on the crowd you’ve got to rock the night away!

One night when bouncing around to different bars and clubs we first stopped in Revolution. We had gone to the one in Clapham Junction earlier that day, but this was a totally different vibe it being about 10:30pm. We danced, took a lot of shots, I drank a really delicious raspberry mojito, and overall it was a really fun time. The people inside were really nice. And it was only a 3 pound cover to get in. Plus it’s located on Clapham High Street which is always fun to wander around when drunk [and not drunk as well].

After the holidays, we are all in the party mood, especially since we don’t have to rush off to work for a few more days and a friend suggests that we go to Revolution. I had been to Revolution once about two years ago and as soon as we entered, I wondered why it had been so long. We settled on a few comfy couches and shared a bottle of wine. The club wasn’t very crowded so we were able to talk and enjoy the vibe. I wasn’t that crazy about the music, but liked the fact that it wasn’t blaring in my ears. I am going to have to check out Revolution on a busier night, I hope it will be just as enjoyable.

Like most places on Clapham High Street, this place becomes a magnet for idiots at the weekend, when the drunken queue’s can stretch round the impressive glass fronted building. However, during the week or on Sundays this bar proves what a classy place it can be. Large in size, with lots of comfy sofa’s and seating and a vast area in front of the long bar which helps ease crowds, the bar has a great selection of spirits, offers good range of well-made cocktails and even more shots, though find their synthetic vodka shots quite repulsive and would say stick with the black sambuca instead. The venue also has a great food menu and many deals on both food and drink which make it a perfect place to chill with mates without breaking the bank.

Not a massive fan of the Revolution chain, yes the shots are cheap, but I’m sure this vodka gives a worse hangover. The place is pretty big so if you want to get a table at the weekend here is your chance. They also do an offer that if you don’t get your food within 15 minutes you get it for free — can’t be bad, if the food is edible.

A stylish sign stating ‘vodka and food’ is displayed proudly outside Revolutions in Clapham. At least they have their priorities straight! Revolutions is a restaurant and night club that caters to the more hoity-toity of the Clapham clientele, though if you go there only for the music they play you may as well stay at home and switch on the radio. Get there early and chill on one of their soft leather couches, or catch a quick snack at a table: your evening’s about to become a whole lot better. At around 9pm things start to heat up, particularly on Thursdays when they offer two for one on cocktails. Weekends are great too, but beware the happenstance of vodka goggles; they specialise in the stuff and too much of it can lead to all kinds of dodgy decisions.

I’m not quite sure if they sell Vodka at the Vodka revolution bar. I had about tray of their colourful shots, and could still manage to jog to the early 90s Dance Anthems. This place gets pretty nasty on the weekend; there isn’t really a dance floor, so it’s pretty much a free-for-all where ever you can find a space. But if it’s a rich combination of cheese and pulling power you seek my friends then it’s a close battle between here and the mighty Infernos.
