The Pineapple

The bartenders aren’t the friendliest, but they’re alright. Came here for pub fare mainly. I had fish and chips, which came with a little salad. Pretty good, but not outstanding. That’s pretty much how I’d explain this entire place. Kindof a weird crowd, but I’m from the States and only have what I’m used to there to compare it to. Definitely not a hip place. It’s mostly older guys who like to get drunk and reminisce about every woman they’ve ever known. Probably best for groups who just want to chill and have a few beers or grab a bite before they head out for the night.

Despite the attempt to look like a house from «What’s the Story Balamory», this place is not too bad.
Decent beer poured well.
Comfortable seats and tables.
Tucked away off the regular paths, it seemed like a possible local if you are near.
Would I travel to it — probably not.

Slightly hidden pub not far from Lambeth North station. I came here for the football, which they show on 2 big TV screens and a projector screen. Unfortunately the projector screen is too small for the full picture and there is no sound in that part of the pub, which meant I relegated myself to the extremely uncomfortable bar stools. I took myself off at half time to avoid a back or neck injury.
They do serve 4 real ales however, albeit a rather predictable selection. Seems like it might be quite a local’s pub, there was a pending football match against another local pub! There are some tables outside for the warmer weather and I guess they could be quite nice as the pub is not on a busy road.

A good decent pub. It has none of this wine bar feel that many places seem to have in london. Its not a huge place, but you have a choice of sitting inside or outside where there are a number of tables — good for when the sun comes out. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and service is very quick, i’ve been a few times and even when it is busy i haven’t found myself waiting at the bar for ages dying of thirst before getting served.
I think it does food, but I haven’t gotton round to trying it. Too busy taking advantage of the alcohol.

Very nice local pub located close to lambeth north station.
It is within walking distance of Westminster bridge, county hall, the London eye and my current home (quite close to Buckingham palace)…
The pub itself is very clean and serves my favourite lager on tap — Becks vier
I Have spent numerous evenings in there whether it be for a quiet drink after work, for a couple of games of pool, to watch the mid-​week football or to enjoy one of their lovely meals.
If this live in the area, please do stop by and try it out, you might even find me in there on the pool table
