Really cool pub! One of the best in area. Has a beer garden not only I front by road but a huge one out back! Lovely décor too with board games and fussball. Has it all! Friendly staff and you get served easily though I turned up before rush hour after work. Seems full of young people and when sun is out no better place in area of Clapham North. I’d be a regular if I was living near here for sure.

We are always in the market for a pub dinner, and happened upon the Falcon. Honestly, of all the pubs we’ve eaten in Clapham this has been by far the best one. The inside is very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The service was very accommodating, even though they were missing many items from their menu. As for the food, I had the fish and chips and My wife had the Sea Bass. Both were delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good meal in Clapham.

The Falcon is tucked away from the hustle of Clapham High Street and we visited the premises for a late Sunday dinner as a group of 3. We instantly loved the interior as it is quite a large restaurant/pub with a nice laid back music going on in the background. Unfortunately half the menu was not available so we had to keep changing and then settling for whatever option we could order. I would be fine with this if they didn’t run out of chicken burgers(how hard is it to run out to a supermarket around the corner and grab patties?) along with brie, grapes, quinoa salad, shepherd’s pie, etc. The food we could order though! I had the pan seared sea bass(the very last one) which was better than any other sea bass I had in London so far. Husband also finished his fish and chips(including the crumbs) in record time, claiming it was quite delicious. If you are in the neighbourhood and looking for a big space with some good music, great seating(including outdoors) and food, do come here.

Exploring the area around Brixton and Clapham with some friends and looking for some quick lunch I came across this pub. What drew me in I must admit was the bright yellow colour because it stood out and the fact that there was a garden(despite the cold I always find places with gardens more appealing because it must mean people go there in summer too). There were a few roast options on Sunday but we were not too hungry so we decided to get the 3 starters for £13 deal, which was cheap considering each individual starter was around £6, and have one each. I got the fried squid and I really enjoyed it, one guy got the salmon and enjoyed it as well. The third guy got the duck pâté and was not happy at all as it came with a thick layer of duck fat at the top which is supposed to be normal but he did not expect it. While we were there the football was on and since our table was under the screen it was very loud and we could not talk properly but I think if you go on a different day and sit further away that should not be an issue. I think it is a nice pub and I would go back when the weather gets a bit warmer to sit outside in the sun.

Hello you cutie-pie of a pub! It’s always a pleasure to come back here. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is great(and has oodles of personality — which sounds odd but bear with me!). I’ve been here for birthday dos here a few times. Each time, things were run smoothly — which is extremely important on a Saturday night. There’s a good selection on offer so you know you’re not getting short changed. Portions of food — definitely good. And yes tasty! It’s a cheerful and cosy atmosphere. And the service — especially if your partner forgets their jumper! — is understanding and bloody lovely. It’s always the little things. A friendly smile, a thank you, an acknowledgement, good grub and some decent drinks really makes a day. What more can you ask for???

This place is fun. Great fun quiz night — with some quirky differences that make it just that little bit more fun. Give it a go. Burgers are good — rest of menu I haven’t tried. Beers a little bit more than some other places around — but not by much and is a good fun place so probably worth it. AWESOME beer garden when the sun it out. Pretty good people watching spot out the front too:)

Probably the best pub in Clapham area. Great selection of beers(no sierra nevada, though) and massive garden. Not great for couples but awesome for crowd.

Who doesn’t love The Falcon on a sunny bank holiday afternoon. Good food, fairly priced drinks and loads of outside seating. Gets very busy but always a good atmosphere.

My favourite pub in Clapham. Find me here for Friday drinks and Sunday lunches. The beer garden is a sun trap to chill in the summer and the canopy that’s put up in the winter is the perfect place to drink too much mulled wine in in the winter. The foods a little pricey for what you get but I suppose pretty standard for the area and I’ve never had a meal that’s left me disappointed.

Not half bad. Visited here with two friends on an outing as they wanted to visit their old local in Clapham. Great little benches outside and fun summer drinks on the menu. Could have done a lot more with service however — extremely difficult to flag down a waiter so the gals ended up sending the men to order at the bar. Burgers were mundane and they even got one of our orders wrong. I guess I’ll let it be as it was a Friday evening and the place was bustling. Still, not something I’d want to necessarily return to. Pass.

This pub has recently become a total favorite of mine. It can be busy at peak times, however there is an extremely large garden to the back which is partial covered over and heated. Their food is effortlessly fantastic, good quality and very reasonably priced, for sunday lunch for two with a bottle of good red is around £36-£40. Sometimes it can take and AGE however to be served but if your not in a rush and have some time to while away the time its very enjoyable.

I do really like this pub, especially the outdoor DJ who plays some great music. I think the food isn’t fantastic, I wouldn’t normally come here for a Sunday roast. The bloody marys are really good however. The cost of drink is quite expensive, even for Clapham. Sometimes they do a BBQ outside which is really nice, better than the food they serve. The best thing about this place is the outdoor area, which is huge and very sociable. Good on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Generic. This is a run-of-the-mill bar a mere stones throw from Clapham North station. Crammed to the rafters with your typical Clapham demographic — 18 to 20-somethings, dolled up, fake tanned, ridiculously low-cut tops and far too much make up. And the girls are just as bad! Anyway, The Falcon has the added bonus of a beer garden so when those wonderful warm London evenings roll around, those Claphamites migrate here. It’s ok, nothing special. What irked me most was it took a ridiculous amount of time to get served despite there not being many people at the bar and plenty of staff serving. All of the staff seemed a little too young and inexperienced — you keep an eye on who’s at your bar and serve people in some kind of order not shout«Who was next?» every time and then serve the quickest and loudest answer. Still, nice fairy lights in the beer garden!

Great beer garden but thats about it. Staff are TERRIBLE! If you’re not their ‘friend’ you will have trouble getting served. If i could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs!

This place gets very busy on a sunny day as they got a lovely big garden. Quirky interior with worn out big leather sofas, nice selection of beers, relaxed atmosphere, decently priced.

Big and yellow, just round the corner from the tube stop, this Clapham Classic rarely fails. If you squeeze through the crowd on front terrace to reach the bar you’ll find some decent ciders and beers on tap, lots of wine and some decent bar staff behind a large bar in the middle of the room. I always knew the front patio area was popular… what I didn’t realise is just how big the back garden is! It’s huuuuuuge! A recent visit on a warm Friday night found us grabbling a table and seeing off the night with a few bottles in great company and a fantastic atmosphere. It does get busy in here on the weekends but everyone is likeminded and trying to have a good time just like you!

I walked into a bright yellow pub and could feel my mood lift. Maybe it was the colour of the building or the vibe that seemed to permeate from the front door! The feel of the Falcon matches the colour of the building, fun, vibrant, and friendly. It was the second stop in our pub crawl and just when I was starting to get tired the Falcon lifted my spirits. The pub does get crowded but I felt that if the inside gets to be too much that I could go and sit at one of the benches outside, the heat lamps are a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Falcon and would go back to experience that warm vibe again!

Definitely a summer spot. With plenty of seats at the front and a beer garden with barbecue round the back, this has outdoor drinking written all over it. Inside there are comfy sofas and the ubiquitous sport on the big screens but the size is just not enough in the winter when everyone has to cram inside. Being right next to Clapham North station is convenient but also makes it busy. Get there early in the winter or wrap up warm and sit outside under the(environmentally unfriendly!) heaters.
