We ate here on a whim last night… I have been banging on about it to my husband ever since! One of the best lebanese restaurants I’ve been to in London, perfect hummus, halloumi was to die for and the Falafel was delicious and so moist-PERFECT. Thats a high score as far as I’m concerned, as a veggie, I’m very picky about my falafel! We ate LOADS, had lebanese beer, and the best service, and it all came to about £25 :) A good selection on the menu of cold and hot, good wine list, impeccable and quick service even on a rammed saturday night. The only problem. it’s quite small so I can see it getting VERY busy and popular. YUM.

I came here tonight to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Him and his wife are regulars here and love the food so thought the rest of the family should get in on the action! My brother recommended getting quite a few of the sharing meze plates and then a main to share between two people, so we did exactly that. We ordered mostly hot plates — my faves were the chicken livers and the vine leaves. The vine leaves were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! The aubergine dip and hummus with lamb chunks were incredible, and so were the little lamb sausages! Wait, I think I’ve listed all of the little plates that we ordered. Okay, so everything was pretty much my favourite! We had ordered a mixed grill for each couple to share and again, the food was delicious. I’m so full right now. The service was great, the staff were really attentive and friendly. Another awesome little touch was a sweet succulent coconut cake that came WITH the bill. Free cake?! This is my kinda place!

We had a delicious meal here. Started off with a few nibbles: thick creamy yogurt, stewed fava beans and a rice and lentil dish. We then shared some mains: kafta chicken and kafta lamb plus grilled cubes of lamb. The kaftas were my favourite — really tender, perfectly spiced grilled mince. It came with a side of white creamy delicious something or other which our waiter said was garlic mayo. It was no aioli though and was lighter and fluffier than mayo. I’m still not sure what it is but it was the highlight of the meal! Slather it on the meat or on flat bread. Or just by itself. To die for. Yummy!
