Yucky. Frozen Lobster. Utter rip off. As a New Englander, I know lobster — Lobster London is serving up cold, mealy, frozen lobsters. They are flavourless and soggy. The truffle fries, which I hoped would be a redeeming side dish, were cold and also soggy. It was very apparent that the lobsters are not cooked fresh. Very disappointing for having spent over £60. The service was also nightmarish. Our waitress brought our meals, and then we never saw her again. When we finished our meals, she finally returned, cleared the table and then again, went missing. When she finally returned we asked about dessert and she informed us the kitchen was closed — we only wanted ice cream, mind you. The views are beautiful, but the atmosphere is awful. The entire restaurant was empty, although there was no other booking available for that evening. Strange how restaurants do that? It’s a very open & cold(literally) atmosphere, not intimate at all. The bar doesn’t have any appeal either. The icing on the cake — we were overcharged. We caught the mistake luckily, paid and were on our way. Will not be returning to Lobster London. There are MUCH better lobster spots in London for a third of the price.
