Had a round of ale and really enjoyed everything. Good selection of English ale, though my boyfriend commented that beers are a bit on the pricey side.
Ambience was chill and fun — typical neighbourhood pub kind of place.
Service was very good. We had a waitress come by every once in a while to take our orders as needed.
Would definitely go back and would love to try their food next time!

I’ve been to some lovely pubs and given a few 5 star ratings but this place definitely deserve it!
They made us feel really welcome and went out of their way to fit us in on a busy London Marathon Sunday.
The beef roast was excellent, I can’t fault any part of it. Pink beef, massive Yorkshire pud, crispy roast potatoes, nice stuffing and perfectly cooked veg.
It was topped off by a delicious sticky toffee pudding. Another person on our table had the Jaffa cake and jammy dodger doughnuts… Crazy good!

A nice looking, yet «traditional» style pub a short walk from Victoria station.
It’s pretty small inside, with very limited seating and standing room. On the Friday evening we visited it was full, and even hanging around the bar area wasn’t an option as it blocked others from ordering drinks.
There was an excellent selection of hand pumped ales, as well as mainstream (like San Miguel) and craft lagers on tap.
Despite the number of people, service was quick and efficient.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but it’s a great meeting place if you all can get to Victoria station, or if you work in the area.

I enjoyed a great, casual solo meal here tonight (business trip starts tomorrow). Details on the experience:
— I looked at the menu online before I walked over (an easy 5 mins from my hotel) and worried that I might have an issue without a reservation since the menu looked great!
— I decided to sit on the bar level inside (there were signs for the restaurant upstairs and also a cute outdoor area outside of the bar which I was surprised people were sitting in… maybe they were there since it was a rare evening without rain!)
— A very friendly (and good-​looking) waiter greeted me when I arrived and helped me choose a glass of wine to start with (less than £6)
— I chose the smoked eel appetizer (£6) which was large and really delicious and the soup of the day (£4.50) which included bacon, potato, and something like sauerkraut. This was also great!
— I enjoyed the people-​watching as everyone seemed cheerful and happy with their food
I’m very pleased with my less than £16 meal with wine and I plan to come back this trip or on another trip soon!

Amazing food !! Cozy atmosphere ! Beer was awesome as well! Staff really sweet and attentive. A must go to if your looking for great food! Pulled pork nachos for an app were delicious, short rib for a main course was outstanding! Highly recommend. Only reason it got 4 and not 5 stars is the price was a bit steep.

I have really appreciate this pub.
I had dinner with a vegetable soup that was very tasty. Maybe a little spicy but very tasty!
Moreover the service was awesome and the guys are cool (and a bit beautiful ahaha)
This place is super and beer is very good too!
Hope to have dinner/​lunch here once again!

Really crap fish and chips, I’d be disappointed if I got these in a cheap chipper. Soggy batter, tasteless fish, awful tartare sauce, chips were either barely cooked or very overcooked. It was served in a deep frying basket with the fish on top of the chips, making the whole thing really hard to eat. Service was slow and the food took a really long time. Avoid this place — you’d be better going to Burger King.

Great spot we found accidentally while roaming about.
The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken. The drinks were excellent and the environment was fun. Not too loud yet, not dreary either. The staff were friendly and helpful in their tips of places to take our visiting guests.

Came here with friends for a Sunday roast and the chicken was very delicious. Nice spot in Victoria to go for food and drinks with friends. Quaint, non fussy atmosphere!

Friendly service and a nice crowd on a Sunday afternoon. I went with a traditional fish & chips for my order.
The chips were perfect. Crisp on the outside, soft and piping hot on the inside. The peas were seasoned perfectly. The fish… well that was OK at best. Crispy in parts, equally soggy in others. The taste of the batter was very nice too– I’m thinking I just got the random bad order.
Abundance of seating on the second floor — if it’s available, grab a table overlooking the street.

Went here for a team lunch. We were able to get a seat. Service was very slow for the food to come out, we waited for an hour for the food. The burger I got was quite pricey for what it was. £12.50 for a burger and fries. That’s not out of the ordinary for burgers in London. The whole burger was meh. The cheese was cold. Bacon was barely there. My colleague didn’t even have a piece of bacon on his burger. When it came time for the bill, we paid for a food but when we asked for a receipt, the waitress gave way too much sass in her reply of no. I think the xmas stress got to the kitchen staff and the waitress, maybe another visit when it is less busy will be better. I will probably come back to the pub downstairs but not for the food.

Good selection of real ales on tap. Doom Bar and Sussex Best Bitter ordered. Small bar area, wooden floors, pleasant atmosphere with quiet music. Restaurant upstairs not tried out

I came for dinner and ended up upstairs, where it was quieter and much less pub-​esque. I love pubs so this was a bit of a disappointment, but so be it. The whole place, downstairs and up, was absolutely packed around 8pm on a Tuesday. Our service was friendly but not amazing. Food did come quick.
My wife and I each got fish and chips, and it was good. None of it was amazing, but was all tasty, and the portions were good. The English ale list is pretty small, only three choices, which was disappointing. However, they were fine choices.
I would return, but would want to be downstairs by the bar.

Stopped in for some food and beer around 9pm, many things ran out, not a big deal the options on the menu look good.
Best thing: Crayfish salad with fennel and apple. So delightful with lots of crayfish.
Black pudding scotch eggs was pretty good.
Cheeseburger sliders are so incredibly dry and salty… would not recommend.
Asked the bartender to recommend a dark beer, he gave me a pale ale saying I should try it «it’s you!», but man it was bad.
There are many other options in the neighborhood, will probably try somewhere else next time!

Wanted something light and fresh so ordered the Thai Chicken Salad. The chicken is obviously left over from the Sunday roast and is very overly salted. There is no Thai seasoning? I think they thought adding beansprouts and a couple of peanuts makes this dish Eastern.

Lovely little pub. Thanks to Unilocal we were able to find this place for my starving boyfriend. We both had burgers and they did not disappoint. Excellent, meaty, thick and tasty indeed. Beer was fine also. Sunny, warm, and welcoming place in the mid-​afternoon. I would go back again if I’m in the area. Pimlico is a cute little place.
One weird thing though: the staff and the other patrons were all foreign. There was not a Birtish person in the place. I guess that’s perfectly normal in London, but it made the whole experience seem a bit contrived. I was hoping for a more homey feel but since it was my first hour in London I probably had my hopes too high. Still, our Canadian waitress was adorable.
Maybe it’s all the good reviews attracting people from abroad. Anyway I’d have preferred to go somewhere more «local,» if such a place exists in that area.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in London. Amazing fish and chips, really nice sticky toffee pudding — and all of this in a cute room right above the pub.
Really lovely for drinks if you’re in the area and for any sort of traditional pub food you’re craving. For both quality and price, a nice surprise in this area of the city!

Best burger in the neighborhood. Service is great. They also offer Sunday roast. Charming atmosphere. The upstairs dining room was not packed on a Sunday evening. The pub was pretty busy but not overly packed. I would come back here and recommend this place.

Join the Club Club
It is well known that I can often be found sitting at a bar, sobbing into a handful of rubbish bread filled with bacon, chicken and some form of egg and old salad. Many years I have travelled the globe, and many times I have found myself getting hunger pains after too much walking and not enough eating. The remedy for this ailment is always preferably a Club Sandwich and a pint of something cold, while enjoying being invisible among the local populace. All too many times have I been let down by the initial excitement of a lively, and friendly, welcome to a lovely slice of local life, to receive a substandard cold soggy tasteless Club Sandwich.
But not here I tell you. These guys know how to make a club sandwich, in fact they made it so damn near perfect that I even ate the crusts! Now I like some fresh chicken, preferably warm, and for my bacon to be crunchy, check and check. I like fresh salad, but not too much of it, check again. I also like lashings of mayo, 3 slices of lightly toasted bread, AND I like a freshly prepared egg (fried or boiled), check, check, and mother flipping check.
These guys ticked all the sandwich requirements, bar one, I like mine cut into 4 triangles, not 2, but if it is made correctly it should be easy to dissect once more yourself!!! I like to dip the corners into ketchup without everything falling out, I’m just telling you that this was also possible! While we are discussing a list of things I like, I also like skinny chips, I hate stupid chunky ones, I like them to be so skinny that they flip and flop around while you smother them in mayo. Would you be surprised if I told you that they also served me skinny chips, no I don’t think you would, because I said earlier that this was DAMN NEAR PERFECT!
Some decent banter form the friendly guys behind the bar, a pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord to wash it down, and I skipped out of that place like the King of Clubs (I don’t think he skips, but if he did, he would look like me at that moment).

This restaurant & pub is probably gonna go largely unnoticed in both the TripAdvisor and mainstream of good London food. They had a sign that they were open from 9am for breakfast. I was staying nearby, a few blocks from Victor Station. So I wanted to get up and check this one out.
I get in and it’s entirely a nice British Pub atmosphere. There were only a few people there, so they were eager to get me in for some good grub. Ordered the full breakfast special for about £8. Turns out that was a great value for the portions I got. Breakfast here is a must for anyone! It was so delicious that I rewarded them by having a beer with it, just for some extra business. Looks like quite the place again when walking by later in the day. The pub is packed, they got music, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. I’d grab another beer, but I was off and running to the next European destination.
