Soggy in the middle, burned on the crust, this pizza was in the brink of being just okay. The waiter was very nice, but clearly over worked. Although when he was speaking directly to us he seemed fresh and excited, seeing him have to run around cleaning tables, putting dishes away, waiting on half the restaurant and bringing food, he really didn’t have enough time to bring us our check for 20 minutes after we had finished. We heard the surrounding tables complaining that he didn’t come around and hence lost his tip. That made us sad because as far as we could see, he was working his butt off trying to get everything done, customer service was just a casualty. We saw the disappointment on his face when he rung his cash customers through, and there was no appreciation for his hard work. Well of course not, we all want to be waited on hand and foot, we don’t care about the rest of the restaurant. That being said, management needs to hire staff for the tasks so the waiters can actually have time for their customers. So thanks guy who’s name I don’t know. My husband and I appreciated your friendliness and hope you get a better job soon.

The pizza here is delicious, very thin and you mostly take the delicious toppings you choose instead of a bunch of bread. The pizza is perfectly cooked, a little crusty but not overly done. The margarita buffalo was delicious. Their wines are also good, we tried a few reds, which are all Italian. The bruschetta and the garlic bread with mozzarella for appetizer were really good.

So many around, but the branch in Victoria is my favourite as staff are polite and attentive. A great selection for all. My favourite are the Romano based pizzas as they are thin and crispy. I feel the pizzas have more flavour. Goats cheese and caramelised onion toppings is a good choice. Dessert her, is also very good. The cheesecake is a good choice!

Pizza Express is one of my favorite chains in the UK. Love the thin crust pizza, and salad pizza.

The food was excellent though the service, horrendous. 2 stars is all we could muster up. Our waitress disappeared after taking out order. Getting water was difficult. The drinks were only half filled. Someone else stepped in but he was around sporadically. The place was three quarters empty so no reason for the awful service.

Dinner for 6 was straight forward. We had a mixture of pizzas and salad. Waitress brought us a carafe of water which was nice — only one person had requested water but it was very thoughtful. An incident with our friend’s baby reaching for pizza that had just been put on the table could’ve been handled better but apart from that things were fine. This branch isn’t really anything special. It’s quiet. But otherwise it’s exactly the same as all the others.

I really like this Pizza Express. It’s one of my favourites in Central London. It’s in the Millbank tower(sorry, ground floor so don’t come here looking for a view, go to the London Eye for that)… but it’s really airy and spacious. Even when packed with customers, the clientele are all government workers who are in nearby offices, so it’s never rowdy. The service is good and I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait to be seated, though sometimes they can be a bit odd about where they ask you to sit!

As you already know, I’m not a fan of the old chain restaurants but I feel this branch of P.Ex. as we endearingly call it, deserves a mention & grand old 4 stars. Now, probably like most people these days I refuse to eat in Pizza Express without a Taste card or a voucher(& I do like a voucher!) but I have to admit if you don’t know where to go or have no other option or just fancy a decent meal; some wine and a place to chat, then this is the place to be. I can’t visit P.Ex. without partaking in a ‘Padana’, it’s simply delish! Everytime I’ve had something else, I’ve missed my favourite pizza and felt like I was almost being unfaithful to my first love in pizza. You can also have(believe it or not) tasty and filling salads(recommend the Pollo); delightful little doughballs and scrumptious desserts too — and then feel like you need to be rolled out! Ah well, the diet(always) starts tomorrow. This branch was a welcome addition to the area and when I used to work in the Millbank Tower 3 years ago, we loved it. It is always busy, usually with officer workers, and with a nice atmosphere and great and friendly service. Located along Millbank; the Thames and next door to the Tate Britain, it is also close to Westminster; Pimlico and Vauxhall stations along with the number 87 bus route.

This particular Pizza Express looks like a school canteen. Very spacious and high ceilings, very functional. But nothing extraordinary. If I was not so hungry I would have left after noticing that the tables were left unattended at least half hour after the previous diners have left. Appearances aside I enjoyed my antipasti and pizza. Will I ever comeback, maybe not.

Pizza tasteless. Staff 100%. Wine good. They cater very well for children. Good puddings. Close to embankment tube, so good halfway meeting point for friends coming from lots of different parts. So we’re going again(–_-)

By the ground floor of Millbank Tower so really handy for the Tate. Nice and airy, big windows makes you visible, but hey, it’s a pizza place– what do you want. Good value chain.

the stars are for the pizzas which like all Pizza Express restaurants are very good, we especially like the Romana pizzas. The view from this branch is the best thing — St Pauls, The Millennium bridge, great for people watching. Lovely in summer to sit outside. On the whole the staff are friendly although a particular maitre’d we found very unfriendly and unhelpful — someone like that can spoil the whole visit.
