Cute little deli/café/sandwich place. Came here a bit because it was close to where I was staying. I’ve seen a line here during the lunch times but it’s pretty much empty in the mornings. Prices are very reasonable and service is fast, and even better they take credit card. The inside is a little cramped, and there’s only room for a single row of tables that seat two, as well as a patio out in the front. The tables are basically in a hallway so I can’t ever see myself eating in. They have a selection of cold deli salads, as well as quick breakfast and sandwiches all day. Everything is pretty good and portions are reasonable. I really liked their bacon melt — they are generous on the mayo just as I like it. Not much else to say — solid little sandwich place, good for a quick bite.

This used to be the café that I got a coffee and toast from in the morning and also my lunch from on a daily basis. I agree about the Grosvenor melt it is the best. Nice place to sit outside and watch the world and expensive cars go by. Only a few table so you need to get lucky but it is a good spot to relax. Used to be a bald headed chap in there who was good fun and a little lady who was amazingly grumpy, which just added to the fun of the place. Very busy at lunchtime, there is always a queue. If you want something on the go this is the perfect place to go. They also take orders for office food, so if you need a platter for a business meeting, give them a call. If Miss grumpy is in, please say hello to her for me.

Love this little café on North Audley Street, and I’m not the only one judging by the queue’s. In particular i love their Grosvenor melt on ciabatta, a chicken escalope and all the works grilled and filled right in to my mouth. Mmmm. They have a wide range of sandwiches and meals. Most people take out or sit outside in the summer. With Grosvenor Square around the corner best to grab you food and have wee picnic. The café itself has a small sitting area inside but it’s so claustrophobic I wouldn’t recommend dining in. Prices are okay and the fast turnover means that the food hasn’t been sitting there for days which is always good to know.
