Very good espresso and fresh crossiants

Dammit I’m late… again, it’s the morning and I’m grumpy, my phone is already going off as I arrive at work from Whitechapel tube and ooh there coffee, sweet coffee… I swear I’m not an addict… I just need more and more sweet sweet neurostimulation…
ahem
So the Fresh Coffee company is much more than just fairly good coffee, they have a large range of prepared lunches about half of which are from Laura’s Idea, the vegan brand. It has everything from vegan spinach pancake wraps to very tasty seaweed salads with a really quite nice tofu dressing. Their egg and tuna salads are garnished with mint; my favourite ‘secret’ salad ingredient.
They also have fresh sandwiches made on site and fresh flapjacks and croissants. They were about to lose a star with their slightly high prices but there is a discount for the NHS and often at the end/​beginning of the day they well put the food down to half price.
The clincher for the fifth star has to be the owner always calling me Sir. He is so polite that sometimes I feel I should tell him to be a bit more rude; he is in London after all!
There looks to also be a seating area but Ive never tried it as I’m always late for work partly as a result of my coffee (non) addiction.

This new addition to Whitechapel Road has got me very excited and not only because they serve Rinkoff’s Cupcakes!
I simply ordered a filter coffee which was of a fair standard, a little weak for me but I am a bit of a coffee monster. After the trauma of trekking to Argos this morning I needed a happy place and this is close to it. David, the lovely guy behind the counter was busy but happy to talk about his tasty looking cakes. Apparently they don’t make them on site but try to supply them locally as much as possible. They have a lovely selection of organic cakes and seem friendly hard working fellas.
I have to say this lace looks a little out of place in the heart of Whitechapel, but what the hell, there coffee is great and the service wonderful. Next time I’m in the area, I’m totally popping back in here.
