Savoury crepes are not made with buckwheat. thats a red card! However the taste is ok. The place is small and cozy. I would recommend it for a Nutella sweet crêpe and afternoon coffee.

Such a quaint fun stop! Cozy wooden décor, espresso drinks of all kinds(which are yummy), and the crepes are nuanced and delicious. Service was happy and totally willing to help out anyway they could. Great experience!

When you talk about boutique coffee shops, the crêpe shop is the kind of shops you think about. Small, warm, a bit hipster ish, kitsch to some extent… But boy that’s a lovely place! Crepes are so yummy you will always have 2. At least, guaranteed. Savoury or sweet, you’ll find what you love there. And the coffee is top quality. When I worked in the area, it was our favourite meeting spots. I can’t recall of any client who did not like the place. The staff is really cool, and I absolutely love when they all talk to each other with their different accents. Don’t ask me why, but it sound musical to my hear. So when you have that, plus a bit of music in the background and a yummy crêpe in front of you… You don’t forget your experience and you come back ASAP. Run there and I promise you won’t regret it! :)

The café itself is petite and welcoming. Seems like a good place to have an intimate chat or work. The crêpe however, was subpar — the crêpe was more like pancake than crêpe — I worked at a crêpe shop for about 7 month before, all staff had to be trained and passed tests in order to serve customers. Definitely not the case here! I cringed so hard watching the girl making the crêpe: she ladled the batter onto the machine, couldnt even spin a full circle, so it was just small, uneven, and deformed. Then, she tried to patch it up by adding more batter in different areas to cover the rest of the surface area. She honestly should’ve just started a new one! — the fillings didnt particularly taste fresh or anything special to me. Im not sure if its the machine temperature or just how they like to serve their savory crêpe, but my crêpe was only mildly warm… I live extremely close to this café so I will come back and give it another try.

+ Pleasant café/creperie in a sketchy part of East London + Good crepes for good price, both savoury and sweet + Paintings by local artists on display The Crêpe Shop & Art Café looks as though it had been planted here by mistake in this unsophisticated part of town. This pleasant oasis in White Chapel area serves good crepes. Also on display on the walls are the paintings by local artists. Those works on sale for any prospective buyer. So I expect to see different pieces of work next time I visit here. I had a spinach and cheese crêpe for breakfast. The crêpe was reasonably filling and the balsamic-based dressing on the side salad was very nice too. I noticed a sign indicating they have an «art gallery» downstairs. Sadly, I did not manage to explore downstairs this time as I was in a hurry. I will definitely try it next time.

Really great crepes for about £5. I had the ham and cheese late breakfast. Loved it! Great atmosphere and service. They have an art gallery downstairs. Also had a nice chicken soup for 1.50. One of the best crepes I’ve ever had!
