During the day I wouldn’t be going here but come the hours of 11pm — 2am and onwards(I don’t think it ever closes) it’s a beacon of post booze cravings for greasy food that will meet your needs. Right next to the entrance to Camden Town tube there’s always quite a scene of mayhem and post partying so be prepared. Now they even have guys managing the queue inside to quell anyone getting out of hand. The line moves quickly and there must be about 5 guys serving. Usually it’s just chips for me in an open wrapper. Just what I need and the price is right.

I don’t really like English-style kebabs in wraps, I just don’t. So is it fair for me to review a kebab shop? Probably not. I had no idea what I was doing, I even asked the guy what he recommended which according to those I was with was(a) ridiculous and(b) not cool. What was hilarious was the response was: fish and chips. However the fish did not look great so I went for a chicken doner will ALLFOUR sauces(ketchup, garlic, chili, mayo. I mean, why wouldn’t you?). The chicken actually had a pretty good chargrilled flavour which was a pleasant surprise. I’m probably not going to go back here anytime soon but really wasn’t bad.

It is 3am you need food, decent options are at a premium. My advice is head to the one place with people in it and minimal vomit outside. Tonight that place was First Choice. I got a ½ pound cheeseburger for £3.50. The price was ok but the salad I requested in my burger was paltry at best. Sarah bought fish & chips. The portion size was plentiful with a great looking fish. The best part: The price. £4.60 for a big fish supper. AWESOME! They cook the fish with the skin on which holds some of the fishiness flavour. I am not a fan of this. The chips had quite a few ropey looking specimens thrown in with the good. Yet for the price and time, Sarah’s order gets a big thumbs up.
