Now this is a real shame. I say this because when I moved to the area I was so happy to have a Firezza in walking distance. About 6 months ago this was the best pizza place in town. The staff were averagely friendly and the pizza was amazing. However in the last 3 months it has gone down savagely to the point I’d rather go and buy a pizza from Tesco shit on it and then wait it. I think Firezza as a company must be changing big time. They changed the low calorie mozzarella into circle blobs so your eating mainly tomato sauce and doe. Then they changed the way to put ham on. It use to be small chopped up bits and now they literally cover the whole pizza in massive bits of ham Now on to the staff. They are the most unhelpful rude, egotistical, arrogant shovanistic pigs. Especially the guy in glasses who appears to promoted himself to manager. All that mighty pizza power has gone to his head turning him into the head jackass of the lavender branch. Firezza need to make some serious changes if they do not want to continue loosing customers. I can honestly say I will not be going back there until I hear those bunch of foreign wankers have either been fired or had a reality check. SORTYOURFUCKINGSHITOUTFIREZZA!!! Firezza is great, probably one of the better pizza places in London. They let you order many different flavors, although the whole by the meter concept is a bit confusing. Whenever I order, I end up spending more than I want but then get alot of pizza in return. They are super high tech, letting you order online, via text message, etc. Ordering online gets you free breadsticks — also sign up for their deals and they’ll SMS you with some really good deals from time to time(maybe once a month). I’ve never stepped in, so i’m not sure if they even have seating, but I do know it’s cheaper to pick it up yourself.

You know those times when only a pizza will do? When you just want to sit in, crack open a bottle of wine and chow down on a good to honest, slice of succulent pie? Well tonight was definitely that night. Firezza make a great pizza. Wood fired Neapolitan pizza by the 12″ pie or by the half metre. The recipes are broadly authentic, and they don’t scrimp on the toppings. The chewy, freshly made crust is slightly charred in places, highlighting its uneven authenticity. The smokey heat from the chorizo and the plump red peppers weren’t the most authentic pairing but they did me just fine. A little too damp towards the middle, the liquid in the sauce and from the peppers necessitated some serious folding action. Order online and get a lovely garlic bread thrown in.

Firezza. Brilliant. Baffle your friends by asking if they want to order a metre of pizza in. No seriously, you can! The pizza is great too. I’m a big fan of Mista, their ode to meat, and i’m even partial to their vegetarian options. You order a ½ metre minimum, but can arrange toppings by the ¼m. Perfect for those of you who don’t want to compromise. It’s a great option for parties or that game on TV with the chaps. Order online and get some free garlic bread too. Happy days!

I’m a regular customer of Firezza(or rather, I WAS a regular customer until this weekend) — ordered a pizza by mobile order at 11:25pm on Friday — no sign of it by half past midnight so gave them a ring. Phone rang out, and when I checked the website it showed that they closed at midnight on a Friday. I checked my bank statement, and I had been charged for the pizza… which never showed up. When I eventually got through to them(at 1pm Saturday afternoon), they were very dismissive about the whole thing — first I was told that they closed at 11pm on a Friday(well, the guy said 11pm on a Sunday… but I presume he meant Friday) and when I said that the website showed midnight he then told me there had been a problem with their mobile order printer, and that a manager would be in by 5pm at which time he’d call me. No call came at 5pm… or 6pm… and when I called at 6:30pm I was informed that the manager would actually be in at 7 and he’d call me straight away. It’s now 2pm on Sunday afternoon and I’m yet to hear a word about refunding me for the phantom pizza — I’ve received no apology, and really feel like I’ve been treated badly by Firezza. Such a shame, as the food is great — the place has just been let down badly by poor customer service.

Ordered food from this takeway last week and it was dreadful! The pizza base was so soggy and runny and tasted awful. Really expensive and not worth wasting your money on.

Firezza is my 2nd favourite pizza place on Lavender Hill — better than Basilico, worse than Donna Margherita. Firezza offers standard pizza or pizzas by the half metre. I like the Mista, with 3 kinds of meat.

I’ve only ever had delivery from this traditional Battersea pizza joint, but enjoyed every bite. Classic sourdough base, with a ingredients that although on the sparse side are flavoursome and fresh. Probably on the expensive side, but when you want a pizza without leaving the comfort of your living room, and a dominoes/pizzahut/plastic pizza just won’t do this is a seriously good option.

Too expensive and dough tasted like pan cake not like a pizza. I had a 4 cheese pizza from them delivered and my flat is literally 1 minute from the place. The thing took more than an hour and was soggy and not to my liking at all. Plus the pizza was pretty expensive. I paid 30 Pound for a 12 inch pizza, a side salad some buffalo mozzarella wrapped in parma ham — that was clod and oily — and a mediocre chianti. I’ll not have anything from them again — especially as there are plenty of better places just right next door
