Pizza is amazing, exactly what I need — when it is actually arrives correctly. I’ve actually had a pizza arrive sort of half ingredients off the pizza(gluten free base — wouldn’t bother) and mostly they arrive kinda luke warm — which is a shame — as they taste really really good. Also after stating i didn’t want any onions(as I’m intolerant) over and over and over again and asking the person on the phone to confirm he understood(i didn’t sound like he understood) they arrived with onions, it didn’t sound like they didn’t care, certainly wasn’t a lazy error, an actual error. The roasted veg was really god also — but again luke warm — and not enough volume for cost. Oh and the pizzas are HUGE Really nice, but expect some mistakes

On holiday and this place was recommended by our flat hosts. We needed to get out and eat just prior to our departure so we ventured out to eat at their stool/bar in the window set-up. I might not recommend eating in but I would definitely recommend odering a pizza. We choose a newer selection– Alba. It had walnut pesto, dolcelatte, smoked mozzerella and crispy pancetta. I love smoked mozzerella and their portion was a little mild but the entire flavor profile was so well balanced and rich… but not too rich. Had to take a menu home because the selections are inspired. The crust was thin without being too thin. I just wish we had one of these restaurants state-side. The price was a little higher than some pizza joints but the quality and execution were worth every pound/dollar. So nice to have a beer while eating it too– then hop on the bus to finish packing wishing we had tried it the first night we were there.

We ordered an 18-inch pizza, half margherita and half funghi au truffle. It was as fresh as it could get since it just came out of the oven when we picked it up. We were quite happy with the pizza. It was warm and not too greasy. The crust was thin and crispy. The cheese and huge salami slices on the funghi side were salty enough but not too much. I’d choose Basilico over Pizza da Vinci. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price.

Good pizza but they overcooked it. I guess that happens on a friday night when they are real busy. A league above Dominos et. all, but not up to the level of some of the dine in places in Clapham.

Tried a Basilico pizza last weekend and was mightily impressed. The pizza arrived promptly and the delivery guy was lovely. Very reasonable price when I had lots of leftovers to scoff the following day and the pizza itself was really very good. Beautiful base with fine toppings — I had goats cheese and vegetables — all in all it was really great. Sometimes you may fancy a dirty dominos(if you’ve had a few brews) but if you fancy a proper pizza this is a really good bet.

FANTASTIC delivery pizza. Restaurant quality — and I mean good restaurant quality, not pizza hut! A wide selection of really imaginative pizzas, which you can customise as much as you like. Good quality ingredients, which makes all the difference. Their breads and salads are also very good, and their deserts are reliable. The cherry on top though is the delivery speed. Even at peak hours they are SO fast, you’ll get your pizza in half an hour no matter what in my experience. A really great experience and well worth the money. Blows Dominos out of the water.

Basilico promises freshly made, gourmet style pizzas that deliver straight to your door and these guys do not disappoint… We’ve had pizza delivered from these guys a few times. This place isn’t the cheapest but it really is a case that you get what you pay for. There are lots of great meat and veggie options here — something for everyone. The Veggie pizzas are surprisingly hearty an super, super tasty. I’d say avoid the big chains like Pizza Hut or Domino’s who charge super high prices for really crappy, oily pizzas. Go for the fresh option and try Basilico!

This pizza delivery is an entirely different league to your average American style-pizza take-out, and whilst I will always have a soft spot for Dominoes after years of teenage devotion to it, Basillico is by far the superior option. They taken the Italian restaurant model and made it deliverable. A pizza from Dominoes/Pizza Hut has a slightly unreal element — you’re not sure how they made the bread, or where any of the ingredients came from. With a Basillico, you know for sure — it’s fresh and it’s simple. The pizzas are wood-fired Italian style — delicious crispy dough and a huge variety of toppings that you would usually only find in a restaurant, and that are liberally heaped on. My favourite is the pizza sicilian, which comes with tomato, artichokes, roast tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, goat’s cheese, red pepper pesto and basil — lush! There is also a selection of starters and side orders including vegetarian antipasti and salads. You can even order coffees and wine. All of this comes at a price but it’s worth it and no-more thsn you’d pay in a restaurant.
