Café Metolino

Ok so finding this gem with taste card was a super bonus. The menu was nicely extensive, Mediterranean yums yums. It is really reasonable without the taste card. Good mix of Turkish & Italian dishes, even some sexy looking jacket potatoes throw in. Inside there are beautiful Arab ceiling lamps, there is outside seating but also cleverly done is an inside/​outside area. if that makes any sense! The waiter/​resses were happy & attentive, even taking back our milkshake to make it perfect.
We started with the mixed mezze, a definite recommend. If you’re not a big eater than pick your main sensibly! I had the beef stroganoff, which although wasn’t creamy (better for the waistline!) was yummy! My friend had the lamb shish, which comes in lady size but lovingly done. All in all a super find. totally recommend! Ps. Don’t look it up on street view cos that makes it look dire, in person it’s great, plus a super pub across the road for after drinks.

Me and my partner love this place, it has everything you can think of, the price is amzing considering the size of the portions.
The service there is great, staff and i think the lady (boss) is fantastic, very welcoming friendly service, presentation is also excellent,
There is a selection of good turkish food and you must try the lamb with rice, and also their warm chocolate cake with side ice cream. yummy :)
Everything about Metolino is great, down to their decoration, you can tell a lot of throught has gone into this place, excellent around, and i would recommend to anyone …

A reall lively Turkish café come restaurant. Very popular with the younger clients who use here to meet.
You are never rushed and you always get decent service.
A lot of the locals use it.
A good selection of good quality Turkish food.
You can go just for coffee or a full blown meal the staff do not push you to order more than you want.
Prices are competetive with the other restaurants in the same parade of shops.
They do a breakfast deal which changes every week.
Staff are friendly.
Good décor.
