I am giving it five stars. Was there on 23 December and the cathedral was closing early. We had been out all day walking and were hungry and since it was on the way out of St. Paul’s we decided to stop and grab a quick bite. Boy, glad we did. I have a sausage pie that was the best I have ha din all my travels in the UK over 35 years. The taste was great with unbelievable crust with beets and root vegetables on the side. If your passing trough the exit at St Pauls skip the gift shop and sit down for a great, quick bite to eat, it’s more than well worth it. Note: I rate places according to their target audience so five stars is for this level of place and does not reflect its one of the best restaurants in London though this was really good.

Affordable, expeditious and one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever enjoyed. This Café is one of the dining areas of St. Paul’s, but don’t mistake this for the finer dining room nearby. You get your food from the Café and find a table nearby. Yes, the rambunctious school children with their box lunches can make finding places to sit difficult whilst school is in session, but the fact that you’re in one of the most interesting churches in the world – in the crypt, no less – is a fun macabre experience. The selection and quality were fine. I had a quiche, muffin and water from a trolley called, «The Barrow.» The employees were pleasant. Too bad the«permanent residents» inside can’t enjoy the restaurants of St. Paul’s!
