This small restaurant is a hidden treasure in the heart of Camden. My 3rd visit today and nothing changed: amazing food, friendly staff, good prices… Superb! I recommend this restaurant to everyone, Andy is the boss!

We went there for dinner after having been to London Zoo. We arrived at 8 and the place was heaving but the owner was good enough to offer us a drink and some olives whilst we waited. After about 5 mins we were seated and orders taken. The food itself is fairly bog standard Greek fare with your houmous, taramasalata etc as starters and then your various meats and veggie door for main. The main irritation was the time it took to get the bill — some 50 mins. Normally I would be too bothered by this but we just wanted to leave. Overall ok but that is it.

Andy’s Garden(Andy’s Taverna) is a really nice place to try all kinds of Greek food. I first learned this restaurant from a Japanese blog, and finally had a chance to visit it when I visited London. My friend and I tried Kleftiko(baked lamb), Lavraki(Sea Bass) and their house red wine(good quality, reasonable price). These dishes served with Bread(good!), Greek salad(fresh!) and chips(a bit different from other chips in fish&chips places but super yummy!) that we failed to finish all the dishes in the end. Moreover, we even got free deserts(traditional greek desert) in the end :) If you love fish, you can find out their«fresh fish of the day» on the black board in front of the counter. The grilled sea bass(lavraki) we ordered was really fresh and tasted really good especially after dropping lemon juicy on it. The baked lamb was also yummy! The only problem was that the portion was way too big than we expected… would suggest that just order one baked lamb then some starters would be enough for two. We’re really satisfied with this place and will definitely come here again next time when visiting London!

OK, it may not be the most gourmet restaurant, but this place is just near me and I love it! Went here for my my first birthday with a boyfriend and we enjoyed chatting with the manager and a relaxed atmosphere. Portions were huge, we chose a reasonably-priced sharing meal with hot and cold meze, drinks and main meal of lamb kleftico. If you’ve never had this — I highly recommend — the lamb is slow cooked for hours until it falls off the bone in tender, shredded strips. Yummmmm. Not a huge fan of the Greek specialty wine we tried — Retsina is made from pine tree resin of some kind and is an ‘acquired’ taste. Great for friends or a leisurely meal. And much better than the greek restaurant next door!

If you like great greek cuisine combined with cleanliness and profesionall staff all the way around, well then this is NOT the place We were there recently and to our amazement ants were all over, second the owner was serving a dish of olives and peppers when one of the peppers fell of the plate he promptly picked it up and put it on again. we we extremely dissapointed of the lack of class to say the least. we were expecting somewhat of a decent service but werer left with the impression that the owner was a mechanic of sorts. stay away from this place we are suprised how the proper health authorities have not shut the place down yet

This a fantastic family run greek restuarant. The interior is a bit cheesy however that doe not detract from the great food in huge portions, i would advise skipping the starters and head straight for the mains, the klfetika(lamb) is amazing and served with a pound of potatoes. The wine list is mainly greek and is good, although pricey. They even have a greek brandy! A very nice place for a great meal with very attentive service. real home cooking.

Very relaxed Greek restaurant in Camden Town. Everything we had on the menu was straightforward and as it should be. Only 3 stars rather than four because this place isn’t about creating premium quality Greek cuisine, rather easy going and inexpensive food. We had a nice time as the service was really good and the bill was pretty low too. Well worth a visit.
