Great selection of tasty hot and cold meze! A big group of us recently went here for our office xmas party so the huge range of starters for sharing was perfect. I had the vegetarian moussaka which was packed with vegetables and generously cheesy which I loved. For the mains this is about all there is for vegetarians, but it’s great and the starters are mostly veggie so you could always order your favourites as a main! We had a lovely chilled night!

Outstanding Greek restaurant, almost for the duration of a meal you feel you are on holiday on a friendly Greek island. Amazing family of staff, excellent meals, and an incredible evening out for fans for Greek food. Would recommend to anyone– the love in this place is in everything.

Tonight I went to Daphne for dinner. I am living not far from it for some months already now, but I never went to any of the few Greek restaurants around. As it began to rain and I was not sure, how bad it might become, I decided to take advantage of this nice little place right on my doorstep.
I had very tasty chicken patties with roasted potatoes and a white wine. Simply delicious! I can absolutely recommend Daphne, although the service could perhaps pay a bit more attention, but I was not in a hurry, so it was no problem for me.

There are a few Greek restaurants in the area, but there’s something special about Daphne’s. In the summer, they open up the doors onto the street and there is a small patio you can have dinner on. Inside the restaurant gets a nice breeze, and the light provides a nice contrast to the dark, candle-​lit interior. There are vine leaves and statues of Greek goddesses everywhere — a little tacky, but a lot of fun.
The food is great too. There are lots of vegetarian options, and enough dishes with halloumi and feta to make an cheese lover happy. I always look forward to their mousaka, a bowl of delicious veggies and lamb (or you can get it with just veggies) topped with cheese.
It’s a tasty meal in a place that feels somewhat exotic, even if it’s only in Camden.
