I go here everytime i am in littlehampton. I can safely say they sell the best tasting fish and chips around hence the huge queues you always see.
They could do with expanding if possible as the front of the shop is tiny.
I 100% recommend them. you can eat inside or opposite is the harbour wall where a lot of people eat or just couple 100m is the beach
in high season the queues are huge, i mean down the street long and they have been known to run out of fish.

Can’t see why people rave over this place! Over a period of 18 months we have tried Freds three times. Sadly, all visits were abysmal. On each occasion the chips would appear to have been warmed up. Tasteless and rubbery. Yet, to be fair, there is always a queue here, and people seem to be quite happy with their fayre. Perhaps we were just unlucky and although we went at different times of the day, it didn’t seem to make any difference.

the best fish and chip shop around the fish is lovely and the batter is crisp there is always a queue because it is so popular but worth the wait.
