The Swan

recently been totally gutted and refurbished by Black Country Ales to such high standard its unrecognisable absolutely beautiful, feels so cosy, just want to stay for another ale. 8 hand pulls, 2 trad ciders friendly welcoming staff. well worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed

In the past 5 years, The Swan has experienced countless change overs in ownership, with the pub suffering as a result.
After spending a majority of my childhood at The Swan, I recently visited once more and was far from impressed by the place i spent so much time in previous years.
Both my parents are yet to return since it’s renovation and I doubt I’ll be visiting again any time soon. Despite being able to get a cheap pint, the atmosphere is often damp and lifeless, leaving nothing to the imagination in an experience I would describe as poor.
Without doubt, The Swan has the potential to return to the success it’s had in previous years, but for now, the pub is lacklustre and disappointing to say the least.
