I have to compliment Sandwelll Cycles for keeping me on the road through the bad winter when the easiest option for him would be to try to sell me a new bike.
I have an old seventies racer which I picked up for a snip on Ebay so there’s a limit to the extent I would go to regarding spending on it because it has seen better days and use it for commuting to and from work
and it was all but doomed when the pedal crank was falling off but Pete fixed it on the spot and dead cheap too. When the bottom bracket packed in a few weeks ago I really thought that was that but Pete did a cost effective repair and happy to say I’m still on the road and still well within my budget thanks to him looking after me even though I was clearly not with the modern day cyclists. It’s a very busy shop for repairs because he does it so well but above all is the honesty of this shop and will continue to recommend people to use him. I have been there a few times now and never been ripped off and is trustworthy. If I had gone somewhere else a perfectly good commuting bike would have been scrapped by now and when you have two kids at Uni saving money is the name of the game. Thank you so much Pete!
