Really close to airport and bus stops. Pleasing style and friendly staff. Wifi is not included with your stay. When I tried to hang my clothes the bar came down in the closet and I had to spend some time trying to fix it. Expensive looking furniture but it is a cheap quality. Bed is somewhat on the hard side. Would not stay here or recommend to friends.

This was a really nice hotel for a very affordable price very close to the airport. My husband and I stayed there with our two small children before catching a flight. Amenities are basic but by UK standards the rooms are spacious as is the lobby area. One block behind the hotel is a children’s playground and a few cafes(though we didn’t try these). Otherwise, there are very few services in the vicinity. A shuttle to the hotel comes right to the main entrance for about 5 quid per adult(Kids free) though if you walk across the street there is a free municipal bus to the airport as well. We watched planes on the runway all evening… it was better than television.

I will start by saying that the hotel was OK! It definitely is not a 4 or 5 star, but it meets the standards of being a 3-star. The room was spacious and clean. I had a refrigerator in my room. The Wifi is only free if you sign-up to be a part of the Leonardo Rewards club. It is FREE to sign-up, but just be prepared for the emails. If you are traveling from abroad, be sure to bring the plugs that are compatible with your electronics and the UK. The hotel does NOT offer any adaptors. I ended up having to spend $ 22(£8 each) to purchase adaptors from the vending machine. How can you not offer adaptors when there are so many people traveling abroad? Also, there are no plugs near the bed, so if you use your cell phone as an alarm clock, be prepared to have to get up and walk to the TV. The only clock in the room is embedded in the TV, so if you turn off the TV, you turn off the clock. The hotel is directly across from the airport. I can see the planes from my window. However, it is sound proof! The double windows definitely helped. The food is comparable to what I ate on deployment in the middle of nowhere in the middle east. So, if you can avoid eating here, do. The food is also very expensive. Why pay a lot for poor quality food? Don’t. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel(to the left) that you can take the U3 bus to the Heathrow Central Bus Station. Do not just jump on any bus from there(made that mistake). Only the U3 will take you right back to the Central Bus Station from this stop. If you are returning from the Central Station, you can take the Bus(140, 111, 285, 81) right back to the hotel(second stop). The hotel is located pretty far out from the city centre. If you are ok with commuting at least 2 hours(round trip) each day, then stay here. Otherwise, bite the bullet and stay near the city centre for an additional cost. If I had to just be here for a short layover, I would stay in the airport at the Yotel. At least you will have better pickings for food. Overall, not a bad place. I just won’t come back.

They need to advertise where to catch the shuttle at the airport(taxi cost me £9!). Here for just a quick sleep before a flight, conveniently close. No fridge in room and everything is an additional cost. Does have restaurant but items are overpriced(room menu £4 for a diet coke!). It feels like a budget hotel once you leave the lobby. Overall musty/damp feeling in the ground level room with a slight smokey stench. Windows are double paned so I can’t hear all the backed up planes flying over.
