I had a glass of champ and the Tsarina meal before take off. The meal was more of a snack and expensive at £25 next time I think I will buy a bottle, a jar(very small) of caviar and a few biscuits and take that on the plane with me. Overpriced with tiny portions!

Champagne and caviar before take off. How decadent. They do a great prawn salad too!

This diminutive, worldwide delicacy store offers the best of the world’s Balik smoked salmon. For your interest, the term«balik» refers to a Swedish(could also be Scandinavian) method of lightly smoking the fish several times while being peppered with marinade. Often referred to as «the best smoked fish in the world», I was unfortunately unable to try a piece because of the high price and the fact that fish can potentially disagree with the stomach on take off. Other products include Prunier caviar, a very much sought after brand which takes care to mature its range of caviar products. The only reason I will not ever buy anything at this store is because of their bold offering of foie gras, or duck liver. The process by which foie gras is made involves the torture and death of ducks, a fact I can’t quite stomach while, say, spreading the stuff on cream crackers and chortling away with the gentry.
