I have only been twice to this restaurant, but I find that the portions of the food are minimal compared to other restaurants and prices are too high for what you get, saying that it always seems to be busy, but I think that is because there are not many other facilities to eat in Grays town centre. The toilets for the Grays shopping centre are situated just next to the restaurant, the multi storey car park is also in the vicinity. The seating in the restaurant is very cramped and it seems to take an age for your food to arrive.

I remember back in the olden days my mum taking me shopping and bribing me with a promise of going to wimpy if I as good. Things don’t appear to have changed much. A lot of choice on the menu, not just beef burgers. They also do chicken, fish, sausages and a couple of vegetarian options all served with the traditional chips. They now do proper milkshakes, nice and creamy like mcdonalds. Also have a few speciality coffees. I love there quarter pounder with cheese, what is in that special sauce, its fantastic. There burgers are quite big and if you fancy chips just get 1 portion and share or you’ll have no space for dessert. They still have there traditional banana split and knickerbocker glory. All served up on real plates, not paper and cardboard boxes

For some reason, eating at Wimpys always takes me back to my childhood! I’m sure the menu is still the same too. Wimpy serve burgers & chips and the usual things you would find in a fast food restaurant. The difference at Wimpys is that there is table service & the food is served on real plates & you get real cutlery! Apart from that, wimpy is just like any other fast food /burger joint. The staff here always seem to be helpful and I enjoy eating here. The food can seem expensive(£16 for 2 x burgers, 2 x chips &2 x drinks) Compared with £8 /£9 for 2 big Mac meals or similar

Good food but slightly expensive for my tastes, want cheaper for similar quality go to macdonalds and for a bit more class go to one of the restaurants down the boardwalk. staff on the other hand are lovely and if you just want a nice quiet place to sit while you eat this is perfect.
