Here’s a lesson I should have learned by now — if you want a decent Thai red curry, go to a Thai place. I can’t find anything decent to say about the effort from Jimmy’s other than the price of it combined with other orders qualified me for free prawn crackers. The sauce was an odd pale yellow colour and started to solidify as I was dishing up. Couldn’t taste any coconut milk or lemon grass in here, or indeed any chilli. The carrots were an unexpected touch and could be wrong but think there was a decent helping of cucumber in there too! Not all bad news, the spare ribs were ok and you can’t really go wrong with crackers. Perhaps their more traditional menu offerings are better? Lesson now learned.
