If you ask people these days whether they would rather have Satan or a banker over for dinner, they’d most likely opt for the banker, but only so they could poison them. Let’s face it, the banks have screwed us royally. However, the frontline staff in many banks are a totally different story. In my local branch they are dull, disinterested and go through their daily routine barely looking at customers, but this branch of the Bank of Scotland is different. I don’t live in Dunoon, but I visit frequently for work and have stopped into this branch a handful of times. On my third visit, when I was called to be served, the woman behind the counter, a delightful and cheerful soul by the name of «Joyce», greeted me by name before she even saw my bank card. I’ve been going to my local branch for seven years and they don’t know my name, but at this branch I’ve visited a handful of times they call me by name and greet me with a warm smile. They’re helpful, polite and you can have a good laugh with them as you’re dealing with your banking affairs. In this branch they make banking a pleasure rather than a chore, and if you need anything they will be more than happy to help. Outstanding service with an outstanding team.
