Subway

I remember well the days when Subway was new and exciting and we all flocked through it’s doors because we’d never really seen the like of it before. Little did ywe know that it was soon to take over the world!!!
I’ve even seen a Subway in northern Iceland. It’s scary.
And at the same time, I’m not quite sure how I feel about them. Subway masquerades as something which is good for us, it’s even mentioned in diet plans and on the Atkins, but I’m personally not convinced.
Yes, the food is fresh (and pretty tastey, darn it) but I’m not too sure about the calories content. What they always get you on are all those cheese, sauces, cookies and fizzy drinks… after that lot who cares if there was a little bit of salad in the roll or not.
Oh well, stick to the 6 inch sub of the day, and you’ll not go too far wrong.

If you were going into Cardiff with friends i would recommend this to be the place for you to eat as it’s not to expensive and there is enough room to sit down and eat. It’s quite small but has two floors. I go here regularly with friends and it’s nice to just eat a sub and talk with friends casually. You get to choose the filling in your sandwich — like the salad you want and things — and you can get a sub of the day for only £2.

You can get fresh food for here, at nearly any time of the day. Their prices seem to have been going up and up recently though– now a half sub can cost £3.50. Having said that, they are still doing the sub of the day for just £2. So depending on what you choose, it can end up costing more than you thought. Would highly recommend the cheese steak– even though its one of the more expensive. There is a downstairs and upstairs to eat in if you wish

Me and my sister stumbled in here just before closing time after an evening of merriment (yeah, we were three sheets to the wind). You know how it is after alcohol; you are suddenly ravenous and must have food IMMEDIATELY. The only problem was that the guy was closing up and most of the ingredients had been used up. He was running on empty on the old ingredients front. But did he let that minor detail stop him? Hell no! The man made us a Subway from lettuce, mayonnaise and Cool Original Doritos crisps! A couple of second in the whizzy heater thing and bingo — a Subway original was born.
I can’t tell if it was really delicious, but it sure tasted good at the time.

Very busy version of the ever popular subway brand. You can hardly get in here on a saturday. Id recommend the bacon and cheese sub with ranch dressing yummy.

Can get quite busy here although the subs are delicious. You can either sit in and eat or take away. Prices are reasonable and you can have a variety of salad and choose to have it melted or not.

I’ve been going to Subway several times now and i really enjoy eating there.
You can customize your own sandwich, which i think is really good. The place is always clean. It taste really fresh! :) There are seats in the place so you can sit and eat, but sometimes there aren’t always enough seats. The queues are sometimes long but move quickly.
