I can’t believe I went upstairs for the first time here yesterday. It’s stolen the crown from the Burger King near Queen Street as best in Cardiff! it’s really old-​school inside with a décor not updated since the mid-​80s it seems. I liked it because it reminded me of being a kid, and it made me realise how much things have changed since then. I was in quite a contemplative mood as I devoured my Texican meal it seems!
Service was a little slow, but that’s because it’s so quiet here they don’t pre-​cook anything. Well I say pre-​cook, in this Burger King they microwave your burger right before your eyes. So you get that flame-​grilled, fresh taste. The adverts with the burgers sizzling sumptuously over flames are not an accurate representation it seems.
Friendly staff and this is the secret Burger King where nobody goes. Head here on the busy nights for sure.
