A very good discovery. From the friendly welcome the staff can’t be faulted. The menu might be limited but this must be because of the excellent quality of food. This is an old fashioned pub, there is no music or TVs but you still get free wifi and the pub is on twitter @clarendon_arms

A minute off the main roads. Some good beers to choose from that I hadn’t tried elsewhere. And a fireplace that wasn’t on even though it was a cold and rainy afternoon. All in all worth going to again, but it’s more of a neighborhood spot and not my neighborhood.

San Francisco, CA
A good selection of real ales (its a Green King pub so Abbott and IPA) and a friendly bar staff. Its a little small, although they serve food which is good standard British pub fair and helps the beer go down.
Its hidden a little off the beaten track, but if you are doing a little crawl around the Cricketers /​Free Press then its rude not to pop in for a topup.
At Christmas, it really hits the mark for warding off the dark nights. I’m not giving it 5 stars however as its a little irregular shaped and not great for groups over 6 people.
