Our favourite Thai place in Cambridge, the food is always very tasty and authentic. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is nice, too. Would highly recommend the drunken noodles(hot) and the pad thai.

Food was not as good as usual on a Sunday night: average Thai food for about £9/main. Ate as a group of sox and got served quickly.

We thought we were visiting a pub that sold Thai food when we decided to meet a friend of a friend here, but it turns out that they have very few beers on tap/in bottle. It really is more of a Thai restaurant with the name and the outside building that looks like a pub. My husband and I split the slow-cooked beef massaman curry and duck in hot green curry. We loved the spice and generous amount of tender duck. But both dishes came with an enormous amount of white rice — unnecessary. The bartender was nice enough, but our server was kind of rude when saying she was surprised that I was drinking an ale and my husband wasn’t(yes, unusual even for him, but he decided to do a lighter lager for the moment to allow more room for food and other beer later). The vibe is quite boisterous but less in the sense of drinking and hanging around, with the clamor more so due to tons of Asian students in large groups for dinner. Overall, it seems like an authentic and decently affordable Thai restaurant in town, but not my pub/hangout of choice.

As authentic a Thai meal as you’ll find in Thailand I was introduced to this place by friends who have been avid fans of the chef for years, following her around from venue to venue. This is the first place that actually belongs to the chef and her partner, and it was worth the 100m trek from the city centre. Real Thai fish cakes with that squeaky all-fish mouthfeel, a crisp and tart papaya salad, spicy hot jungle curry served with jasmine rice: all combined to make this a brilliant meal with wonderful friends, who also thoroughly enjoyed the craft beers on tap. It is, after all, a pub that’s also a Thai restaurant, and it does both equally well.

Good drink & exceptionally good thai food. The service is prompt and courteous. One of Cambridge’s nicest That restaurants surely. Now it’s called The First and Last, insted of the Cricketers.

Laid-back pub with lots of different beers on tap and all-around good craic. They also fit up to four TV screens into a surprisingly small area, which means you can usually catch whatever sports event you’re after on TV. Tuesday night pub quiz during University term times, live jazz on Sunday nights, and a team in the local pool league. Art from local college students displayed on the back-room walls can be a bit challenging.
